I had wellingtons as a child + but for me they were cold, ok kept feet dry, I still have a pair poss 20 yes old as I used to horse ride and they were great BUT now just walking in heavy rain, maybe snow you need more and muck boots fill that fantasticly, stick in trousers, warm love them.

I have always had the shorter boots so as a short(ish) person I was concerned this style would be too high. I needn’t have worried, they are perfect although I do think a couple of other styles would make me unable to bend my knees! They look great too, love the colour.

I understand that these boots are a relaunch of boot that was previously discontinued (but I don't know why). They seem to me to be the same as the previous ones and are usefully tall, very warm and perfect for staggering through the winter mud and snow etc then getting straight on (knock the mud off first) for a ride out. I’ve had 2 pairs of Muck boots now (Chore and Muckmaster) and they are brilliant when new but unfortunately after some time the heal wears away letting in the water. I’ve tried numerous glues on them but to no avail. Such a shame that they don’t last all that long, I think they need to come up with a better design as I will be looking for another make in future as they are not cheap.

I love Muckboots & have been the owner of at least 6 pairs. Perfect for dog walking. They are super comfortable, however, my last 2 pairs of the pull on ankle boots have split in the same area on the top. Don’t get me wrong, they do get some hammer & I wear them nearly everyday. I do use the protection spray but sadly not too happy the last 2 pairs have split, so much so, I’m now looking to buy a different make going forward. Sorry to say but at the price you pay, I do expect longer life in them...

I have extremely sensitive feet and wide calves for a woman. These fit my calves and I can even get my trouser legs in the tops of the boots. I was at an extremely muddy campsite for a week where cars kept getting stuck and it was possible to sink into the mud ankle deep. At no point did I have to worry about my foothold or my shoes.
