The Crux1 prints very well, precise layers, good bed adhesion to the pei flex plate when you level the bed properly (closer than with other bed types). I'm not too thrilled with the way you are instructed to make a Cura profile, as there are some resulting problems, such as the purge line on the very edge of the build plate, and end gcode lowering the extruder after a print which could cause ruined prints. Tronxy really should provide a good cura profile, since editing gcode is a bit advanced ...

The hardware is great! Smoother and quieter, definitely more precise. The firmware is what suffers. Honestly, I wish I had just sent Gcode commands to adjust for pitch and speed and not had my printer down for 2 weeks because of poorly done firmware. The new firmware lacks the most basic fundamental z-offset that every printer on the planet has. As I have tronxy x5sa pro already bought this one for nice start for upgrade in this time it have just linear rails and cheap copy e3d volcano hotend with original titan extruder from x5sa pro and corner support what helps with wibrations already can print at 130mms with outstanding quality thx tronxy

Quick delivery from China, wish they sold bigger lengths. Also I have a slight miscolour from what I got with the printer to what arrived so make sure you order enough to help prevent this. Item is great and I cannot wait to finish it just waiting on some parts finish printing that I plan to add to the rails i.e cup for parts, holder for tools etc.

Excellent quality and service from Tronxy. Works well but you will need recommended retraction etc. This is my second dual colour upgrade and very happy with both machines upgraded. As you can the hotend works good and its easyto install, I feel like there could be a better way to control the nozzle it leaks a bit, maybe an upgrade to the heat sink would make it an amazing item.

The spacers work better than the stock spring ones, the leveling wheel are exactly the same size as stock, though. Bigger metal level wheels would be amazing and make leveling less stressful .

Great printer! The printer itself just works, instructions were very simple to follow. What I would like to see is more info about the parts used, for example without taking off the hotend cover, you wouldn't know what type of extruder this printer uses, it makes it harder to buy nozzles if you don't know the hot end type and it isn't explicitly mentioned anywhere. I love that it came with spare parts, but what it doesn't come with any spares of the bowden tube clips, they seem to come off on ...

For the price, I expcted to get a conversion kit, using the existing parts plus maybe a new cable harness, and some steel hardware to mount it. What arrived, was a complete set including stepper, extruder, hotend and fans. WHOW. Little downside: In the way it was mounted, it was not possible to use. I had to dismount the extruder, and turn the stepper by 90°, because the power connector collided with the rear bracelet for the belts. After turning the stepper, it fitted fine. Right out of the box this little printer just makes high quality prints. I just keep sending it gcode after gcode without leveling or any adjustments and get the same quality every time.

Based on input from Tronxy support, I decided the problem I was having with my printer stemmed from a faulty induction vertical sensor. So I ordered a new one from Tronxy for a minimal price and it works perfectly.

The printer is very good simple software the quality is good in 0.2 no problems except one the slicers have issues no good auto gcode if you don't now to fix it you may be not able to print at all the tronxy company have to manage a gcode and correct settings for this printer to work very well with different slicers.

I bought this as a compact printer that would fit on my desktop without taking up too much space. I own several other machines, having been 3D printing for about six years and now find that this is my preferred machine. Build quality and design are excellent and the quality of print I find hard to fault. I would definitely recommend this as either an ideal first printer or compact second machine.

It's a good printer and the software and the LCD screen is really great. The only downsides were that it took a long time to put together. I recommend watching the YouTube video and viewing the manual on the USB stick and not the printed one. I had an issue with the bed not going up at the way, but customer service got back with me quickly with help. My printer is now working and printing.

Very easy to set up,, less than 5 mins at the most. Every thing worked very well, the printer is so very smooth that I don't know it's working unless I look. The only thing that let it down was poor software supplied on the micro 8gb card, as soon as I noticed a problem I found another .std file and sliced it and it printed great.

Installed the sync-belt on my X5SA-400 Pro, a quick and easy process. It also gave me an excuse to go over the printer and check all the grub-screws associated with the Z-axis screw-rods. Belt sits nice and tight, bed is not doing to get out of level again!

The only problem is that I need to find out how to program the dual extruder to print 2 colors at once, I was not provided with an instruction book/sheet on how to use it so I am stuck with the internet to find out how to program it.

Excellent product! Every filament I tried adhered perfectly on the lattice glass, including nylon and polycarbonate. I used standard Magigoo for all except polycarbonate where Magigoo PC was needed. The sensor works great, I succeeded to print a perfect 0.05mm first layer to check. To my surprise worked also on normal (transparent) glass except for opaque plates. In brief, I'm very happy with the set!
