I like the Earthsider storage bags. I purchased a mixed group and gave some to my adult children. I think that this is a great way to eliminate single use plastic bags as one shops for fresh produce in the grocery store. The mesh fabric allows the product to "breath". The bags are easy to clean. I particularly like the feature of the draw string which has a slide lock ball. You depress a button in the ball and the ball becomes unlocked, allowing the draw string to open.

The reusable stretchy lids are a great way to reduce plastic use. They work wonderfully. I could use larger tops to cover a mixing bowl and serving platters, 10 and 14 inch diameters.

I first got a set to give as a gift to my very eco-friendly niece. I was bummed they arrived with no paperwork at all, so I watched their online video and wrote down all the info I could to tell her what they are made of and care and use info. She liked them and I decided a few weeks later to get myself a set, too. Now I know they arrive in minimal packaging, and that is great. Except when opening the package, one of the tabs got cut off. :-(

During this pandemic, stores ask that we not bring our own items and bags from home. So these are used for washing and draining produce when we bring them home and clean them. Only one problem... heavy and pointed items do not fare well in these produce bags. Sweet potatoes twice now, have ripped through. : (

I purchased the reusable produce bags and found the materials and craftsmanship to be of a high quality. I have washed them once and believe they will hold up well over multiple washings. I’ve also found other uses such as storing my bike helmet and gear between rides. My only recommendation is the tare weight should be stamped on the bag. I found one to weigh about a half ounce. Not a big deal unless I’m buying some expensive mushrooms.
