This syrup makes a fabulous old fashioned. So much easier than measuring the bitters and simple syrup individually. 1 tablespoon syrup to 2 ounces of bourbon.

I stumbled onto Proof on instagram and after checking out the cost, I figured I might as well give it a shot. I have to say, I have been PLEASANTLY surprised by how good it is. Also, I fully underestimated how much more convenient using a pre mixed syrup/bitters set up could be, when compared to the process of making an Old Fashioned the... Old Fashioned way. I'll definitely be trying the Maple Bacon in the fall.
