Peak refuel is one of the best products out there. Taste very good. One pouch is plenty for two people. I buy small bundles of freez dried food for my bug out packs. And buckets for just in case storage. Can't go wrong with Peak Refuel!

12 out of 10 for us. This breakfast is the bomb! We thought we’d try one before the guys go out and start their summer hikes and it is definitely going into the rotation. Reading some of the other reviews, we did not have any “big chunks” of the oatmeal and had several….not a ton….but several peaches. It was rich and creamy and absolutely delicious! You did it again, Peak. We are grateful and really impressed.

Have to say I loved all of them. They all benefit from additional cooking time in my opinion but that is a minor concern when the taste weight and ease of use is off the chart. No upset stomach either…byproduct of quality ingredients.

In preparation of my upcoming S. African Walking Safari, my granddaughter and I tried the Mac & Cheese in a mock camping situation. Rosemary ate the Peak Breakfast Skillet while I had a competitor's similar product. Though they were both good, the Peak had more food, calories and less sodium. The quality was different too. Stuff looked fresh. Really. The competitor was made differently because it had a super long shelf life of 30 years. IMO - if you need great food you plan to eat within 5 years, the Peak breakfast skillet is the Cadillac choice. We have already ordered 6 more of the Peak.

This is very easy to prepare. Just add some boiling water, stir, seal the bag, wait about 10 minutes, open the bag and stir the contents and enjoy. The Chad Mendes inspired meals are all terrific. I think I like them more than the ordinary meals you can find because they are something that not every company has. Along with the meals they brought back I wish they would have brought back the elk meal. The bison, elk and venison are fantastic and should be a regular part of Peak Refuel offerings.
