I wanted to love this little cross between a purse and a backpack, but it's just a bit awkward to carry. It's a perfect size--smaller than a day back but larger than a tiny cross body bag. Can hold wallet, sunglasses, sunscreen, small water bottle and a few other sundries. But it doesn't hang right as a backpack. The zippers are indeed difficult to open and close, but it's waterproof and anti-theft, so it's not too much of a bother once you get used to it. My main complaint is that the zippers don't track deep enough down the side of the bag -- I wish they went further because the bag itself is quite stiff and I find myself struggling to get things out if the objects aren't slim and made of smoother material.
