Total beginner however although no big projects completed, small items made to get used to machine 😀 Not experienced an electric machine for forty plus years !! This machine is very quiet in comparison, light weight and so far is performing as expected. Disappointed it didn't come with a substantial cover....I now have a beautiful well fitting bag purchased from the large online store. Although not in anyway an expert I would recommend this item.

I hate ironing with a conventional board as standing gives me a backache, with the Steam Press I can sit down. I find Jeans are easier to iron more quickly as it only takes a couple of presses and they are done. Flat sheets are no longer a thing to be dreaded and small towels and pillowcases fly through. The only problem with the new press I bought is the cable is shorter than the previous 2 I have owned. I had to go and buy an extension cable which irritates me every time I use it.

I have been a seamstress for over 45 years had a wilcox and gibbs industrial lock stitch which started to put oil on the material. I saw this singer and for the price it looked good. My husband fitted this in the machine table and so far its done all that the lockstitch did. Im just getting use to the independant pedal onstead of the treadle on the machine table. So far its performing better than expected.

Very happy with my Singer machine so far. It seems to handle well. Have yet to test out all of the functions. I find it it much noisier than my old Brother machine and have to have the radio volume up to listen to when I'm stitching, (presume this is because of the bigger motor?).
