Great amount of adjustables on this tailors dummy but if you're a size 18 and above I would suggest the next dummy size up. I've opened it up fully and I'm shy of the size 20 I need by about 4 inches. Still, I can always pad it out. I bought this size because my husband and I are hoping to lose a bit of weight!

Ime still getting used to this machine. Ime left handed and am finding the lever to put the presser foot down a bit awkward. Also my Elba had to power switches, you could put the light on without power to the peddle. The markings on the foot plate were in black to read easier.

Only thing I’m disappointed in is that you don’t get a paper copy of the manual and the gap between the presser foot and plate is too small - I do upholstery and this is very frustrating. I know that it will be impossible for me to do piping on the cushions as it just wouldn’t feed through. This was my main reason for purchase so I’m not happy about that.

Machines are good machines Although threading lower loop on overlocker is very tricky , you can’t open the side panel to view the arm to get the cotton into the grove . Good solid machine. Fairly easy to thread once you get the hang of it, I definitely need tweezers to thread the loopers. Having the thread catcher is a bonus. Sews well, it’s been excellent on the jersey fabric I’ve used so far. I feel it’s a step up from a ‘basic’ overlocker although I haven’t used all the features yet.

Overall good. Adjustments are a bit stiff and take some getting used to and I need it on the maximum size which does make the body a little less stable than on smaller sizes. Bust is a little flat but I added one of my older bras and stuffed it to get correct size (worked a treat). No problems so far (owned it 2 months and made 4 garments with it).

Not quite as good as I thought they would be. No proper instructions. I feel the 'stud' isn't quite central enough and the prongs don't squash down evenly. Also what instructions there are mention things not actually on these snap pliers (black die?). Can't actually find a video or picture instructions online either so just had to wing in with several failures and waste of snaps

Easy to assemble, though one foot on the stand is a little loose and tends to fall out when moved. Torso adjustments are easy to use. Though no adjustment to lower the position of the bust for a more mature figure which was a little disappointing. I needed to find instructions online to achieve a more realistic body shape, but got there in the end.

The .main reason for not giving it 5 stars was the purchase process. After much evaluation we plumped for the 4432 heavy duty, evaluation done, no, they sent a 6335m Denim,without explanation. We could have purchased this model £30 cheaper elsewhere and it isn't what we ordered! Reevaluation! After much investigation, we decided to accept this model, but with a £30 discount.
