Fitted the rack to the caravan and tested it for the first time this weekend. It was excellent, it held our mtb’s securely. The fact that the rack has two support posts secured to the vans A-frame to distribute the weight gave us the peace of mind in trusting the rack to hold our valuable bikes and it did not disappoint. We did the research and went with the Wild Boar 2 bike drawbar style. We had lots to work around on the drawbar to install any bike rack, so a message was sent and a call was recieved by us from Wild Boar, and our fears were allayed with expert advise. Installation, once we determined the rack location was exactly as the video instructed. Easy. Our 2 mountain bikes travel on our caravan without fear of dislodging. Highly recommended.

Bike racks arrived and assembled easily, would recommend watching the assembly video on the website to just get the order of assembly correct first time. Strong secure mounting system which will make me more at ease about carrying the two bikes without damaging them. Some rack systems are a bit under designed for Australian roads. The finish on the Wild Boar racks is very good and looks smart.

Love the bike rack. Easy to install and feels really solid the way it’s mounted. Have not travelled with it as yet but that changes tomorrow. Only issue I had was the delivery. Sat in a local distribution centre for 2 weeks before it arrived but that is most likely out of the control of the supplier (and squarely on the delivery company). Anyway it’s on and I’m happy.

Thanks for a great product. As you can see I have made a light board for it. You may like to add “nut serts” where I have the bolts protruding to mount the board. The other thing I have done is make a mount for the rear of the caravan so we can easily take it with us and not have this odd shape object taking up space
