This product is truly amazing at helping you train your dog out of bad habits. Our dog Daisy is only 6 months old and a quick learner and through no fault of mine picked up bad habits from neighbours dogs. Following other dogs off the property, chasing magpies and birds, jumping on people sitting in chairs. A quick zap and it has certainly stopped Daisy from her bad habits. I purchased this e-collar for my 8mth gsd Ekko, after using anti bark collar with great success. Ekko likes to chew things he shouldn’t, I have used collar for corrections when he’s chewing something undesirable…. It works perfectly. I only use vibrate setting, it’s more than enough to get his attention & redirected to something else. Loui was extremely anxious and barked at everything and everyone. Now he is calm and relaxed and actually loves getting his collar on. There’s be so much positive reinforcement around him using it and I think he feels better knowing he can be calm and doesn’t have to react. It’s made everything around rewarding the right behaviour easier because the collar is consistent.
