I didn't realize this when I bought it, but the light can be dimmed using a separate wire you attach which is controlled by a remote. Unfortunately the remote that came with the light malfunctioned but the Portland Gear team was quick to respond and help me get the issue sorted. I purchased an older version last year and was very pleased. I am delighted with the updates on the newer version. The strap to attach to luggage is wonderful. There is an extra inside zip pocket now and the zipper on the side leads to a separate hidden pocket. The old version opened onto the interior of the bag. Very glad I decided to update to this version.

I am an Urban Sketcher and my art stuff fit perfectly. We just had a Sketch Outing and I showed all my fellow Sketchers the bag. You will be getting more orders from Bainbridge Island. I do have one suggestion. The bag is impossible to zip up with one hand when it's full. If you put a snap on the Zipper ends to hold them down, I could zip with just one hand.

Love these backpacks. Ultra lightweight and easy to clean. My 14" macbook is the largest size laptop that can fit in the compact size, FYI. The only upgrade I would suggest is for the two small inside pockets to have some sort of closure. Anything you put in there will likely fall out if your backpack tips.
