Great looking, waterproof hold my computer securely and has plenty of space for peripherals.. AND (barely)qualifies as a "personal item" on most airlines - at least if I don't stuff it full... Great design and functionality, but mediocre quality of materials. Some concern over durability. Would prefer to pay a higher price for higher quality materials. As a nice to have, suggest adding some loops or latch points to customize and attach pouches for increased functionality.

Tried the Cascade for the first time this week. This backpack holds a lot. It’s very comfortable to wear and the luggage strap is great. I don’t like side pockets-they don’t hold my water bottle securely and my small hydro flask sticks out the top of the pocket. Aside from this, I like the Cascade. It would be nice if there were a key leash, either inside the main compartment or in the zipped small front pocket

Loving this backpack! Read all the reviews and thought about it a lot. I wanted something a little more professional looking for work but still good for the back. Fits a TON. Laptop 15”, files, extra shoes, lunch. The close straps haven’t bothered me at all—5’7.5”. Four stars because it came with a blemish! Small quality control issues. Grr. I love the quality of this backpack. The wide opening, the zipper pocket inside, the semi-hidden pocket on the side near the back. But I am giving it 4 stars because of one design flaw. When the backpack is filled, water bottles don't fit in the side pockets. I will be ordering the larger size for my trip to Japan. Hoping it's not too big for my small frame.
