After an hour in a wetsuit diving in 52 degree waters, the Surf Fur parka did its job. It kept me warm and blocked the wind. Great product!!

Hands down… Best. Hoodie. Ever. Since I got my hoodie I’ve practically lived in it, and I can’t believe how it’s kept me dry in the recent San Diego rains…. Very warm and comfortable, and looks great, too…. I got a compliment on it the very first time I wore it!

We started with a surf fur water parka for our daughter who is a competitive swimmer, it’s been far more durable than her teammates conventional swim parka and warmer for outdoor meets. I originally bought the XL, based on some of my dimensions matching some of the XL dimensions. Unfortunately, it was too large. I then bought the L and have been very happy. The first day I wore it to work, I received two compliments on it. Very stylish for a raincoat and very functional. I also own the Original Waterparka. Love both coats. Surf-fur is a great company, making great products.

Like everything else I have from Surf-fur this Beenie is great. I hate being cold and wet. Their stuff just works and it's easy to care for. What more can you ask? Do yourself a favor and invest in comfort with Surf-fur. Extend the amount of time you can spend in and around the water.

Listen. If you like being comfortable while soaking wet, riding Mach Jesus on a boat back to the dive shop, get at least the shorty jacket. I have such a hard time staying warm due to health issues and my hubs got me the trench and jacket for Christmas and I cannot stress enough how great these jackets are. Everyone was jealous and I plugged Seal Fur non stop. Also shout out for the awesome customer service by the Seal Fur geniuses. Worth. Every. Cent.

Finally got the cold weather we’ve been expecting and this kept me nice and warm after the dives. It’s great because you can put it on while you’re still wet and it doesn’t stick to you at all! Definitely recommend this jacket to all divers!

Many of my scuba diving friends use the boat coat and recommended that I get one. We use them during our surface intervals so we don’t have to take off our wetsuits and put them back on. I started offshore spearfishing this year, and my club members at North County Depth Finders rave about your parkas. I was chilled on my first trip out to LJ kelp, so bought the combo figuring I'd use the short jacket for rod & reel trips. All I can say is the parka was awesome on my last trip out chasing tuna. Kept me so warm over my wetsuit on the wet ride back to port. So glad I made the purchase!

Love the coat, and you nailed the size regarding chest size and all that. I’m 6’1”, so I recommend offering a small/tall for greater leg coverage. I also think a snap in the back of the hood to allow it to fit tighter could be helpful. Everything else about the coat is perfect! Thanks for making such a great and useful product.

Went diving in Florida in February. Air temp was in 40’s. I was freezing. The boat Capt had a Surf-Fur and let me wear it over my wet suit. Changed the whole game. Surface intervals were a breeze with the coat. Really enjoyed my trip after that and ordered one as soon as I got home.

I purchased a Surffur jacket for my wife which unfortunately turned out to be the wrong size. Thanks to a no hassle return policy we got her the right size and she loved it so much that she bought 1 for me. I didn’t really need another jacket but once I tried it out I really like it as well. I love this hoody. It is so soft and warm. My only comment is I want a pair of sweat pant out of the same material, with zippered pockets to not lose your phone or wallet. So far i am using the hoody for boating, wake surfing, when the weather can change and be windy and water is 55. it is great right on your skin after shedding the wetsuit. Thanks again.

When the jacket arrived we had several days of windy, chilly, wet weather. It was a perfect test and the jacket performed as advertised; wind and water-proof. The jacket is cut to allow for layers, and the hood easily accommodates hats. Liked it well enough to buy one for my daughter, too.

I’m an open water swimmer in San Francisco, and my surf-fur makes winter parking lot changes less brutal. Once I pull my wet bathing suit off under my surf fur, I wear a fleece jacket and fleece pants under the coat and warm up fast. I’m 5’8, 140 lbs and a medium is perfect for changing and wearing another layer underneath.

This parka is amazing. I swim year round at an outdoor pool and temps have crept into low 30s some mornings. I love how I literally throw it on over my suit before leaving my house and can jump out of the pool - a very quick towel off - and back in my parka in a few seconds. It took one month to arrive which is sad going to Australia. It is bigger than I expected going off the size chart. 6’ and 210lb. I take an XL T-shirts so I ordered an XL coat. The large would have been big enough. A good point I should mention is that the arms are to long but there is elastics in the sleeves to keep then tight so they are not getting in the way. Either way it will still keep me warm and I am happy with my new boat coat/dive change coat.

Love that it is reversible so I can change then flip it inside out and wear the dry side on my way home. The changing and real pockets are so convenient. Material is warm and keeps me protected from the elements. Glad to have this after my winter open water swims.

Friend of mine has one and I tried it. I have not had the opportunity to use it yet as the weather has warmed. The fit is great. I normally wear an XL but using the measuring charts a large fits great with plenty of room to change. Good material and quality.

Just off the water and my Surf-Fur hat continues to be one of the best purchases of the year. Feels like this hat is built for Hatteras and the cold and damp conditions. The weave of the hat is tight and fits well, the lining is super comfortable and this hat blocks all the wind. Great product from a great company that knows what it takes to keep folks comfortable when the weather is nasty.
