I’ve been wearing Hiker GX socks since 2006 and wear them almost exclusively in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. I have about 10 pairs in rotation right now. They are soft, comfortable, and form fitting in the right places so they don’t bunch up. With proper washing and drying, I’ve had them last as long as 8 years (cold water wash on delicate and hang dry - DO NOT throw them in dryer). Totally worth every penny! They keep your feet warm and dry no matter the weather.

I was in Taos New Mexico for 3 weeks this past October. I travel carry on mostly and needed slippers for the tile floors and got tired of padding about in shoes. Then I remembered I had the green socks on the right feet for hiking and they became slippers. When I got back I ordered 5 pairs of slipper socks as Christmas presents and I think another 3 pairs of the mid calf socks. I do a lot of walk and wade fly fishing and plan to use these socks multi seasonally

I had high expectations of these socks before they arrived, and they have managed to exceed my expectations. Warm, light, and with a pleasant compression. I had purchased some of these socks previously and thought they were too thin for winter. Surprisingly, I was able comfortably to wear these socks this summer and recently tried double-layering the socks on a chilly day. I think the double layering will work for cold weather. It takes a few more pair of socks this way, but definitely makes them more flexible for different seasons.

I love this brand of wool socks. They are my daily go to for work , training , dog walking. Feet always comfy never sweaty. Soft and warm! My favourite sock. I especially like that they aren’t “one size fits all”. Most socks are too large and the heel sits above my ankle. These fit perfectly. I would highly recommend these socks.

These are Great! Nice fit, stay in place all day whether in my runners, gardening shoes, or my house slippers. Good cushioning on the soles, breathable on top. I like the plain black colour as it hides with anything and doesn't need to announce itself. They wash well with no shrinking. I am a size 9 1/2 shoe and they fit comfortably. I will buy these again when the need arises.

The bamboo socks from Great Sox are incredible. He wears work boots all day and those boots were horrendously stinky. Not to mention his feet. Ug. So bad. Even when he would get new work boots, the stink would be still be awful at the end of the day. On the advice from a friend of his, he tried bamboo socks and his boots and feet no longer stunk. Honestly, these things are magic and I have now changed out all of my husbands socks to bamboo.

For many years my ``socks of choice` were McGregor Hiking Socks. Sadly for me McGregor stopped making that style. I tried a couple of pairs of your JB Fields Casual socks. I was not happy with them as they fit quite loosely. Next, I tried your Hiking socks. I am very pleased with them. The fit is much better. I attribute the better (more snug) fit to the higher proportion of nylon in the blend. I expect these to be my new `socks of choice`.

First time buyer, I picked two of the assorted thermal 3 packs. The comfort, fit and quality are unbelievable. I was out for a hike in -8 temps wearing non-insulated shoes and was perfectly warm. The only problem I have is that I don’t want to take them off.

I've been buying this sox for years now. AS a retired QM manager for a large police service, I always told new recruits, told by cheap sox, your feet will hate you. I live in Whitehorse Yukon Territory Canada and our winter COLD is seriously cold. I am deeply grateful to JB Field's 30 Below socks because my feet stay warm, warm, warm. I wear socks under the 30 Below socks to wick moisture and my feet stay warm ALL DAY outside in wintertime. These merino wool socks are the BEST winter socks I have ever found.
