It seems no one else makes nice socks like these. Every year or two the sock sellers in the United States seem to find different vendors to make their socks, so they change from time to time and not for the good. Mostly cheaper. J.B. Field's Bootgear "Merino Trekker" Thermal Boot Sock has soft wool and elastic that lasts and lasts for years. I have a dozen pairs (I wear wool socks almost year-round) and will buy again when its time.

these are great socks! One thing I especially value in your description of them is when you listed their length. Some kneehigh socks do NOT reach the knees, and there is little more frustrating to a knee-sock wearer than having to constantly pull up ones socks! Please list lengths to all your kneehighs in the future. These socks were very accurately described.

These are my husbands go to , his feet were in army boots for the best part of his life so socks have to be warm, breathable and fit well , you guys cracked it . We are both very happy:)

These socks are great and I wear them for warmth when I need something a little less bulky than the -30 Icelandic socks. The sizing is a bit smaller than the Icelandics, so bear that in mind.

I get blisters on my feet each summer spending so much time in muck boots in the barn, but I ordered the Hiker GX and have worn them for the last weeks and my blisters have gone away. Socks are everything to one's feet!!

true to size. does not bunch up in the feet. feet don't feel damp in hiking boots. sock feels tight while putting them on but is not the case once sock is fitted on ones foot.

This is the third or fourth time I've purchased these socks, and they're the reason I won't ever buy socks in any other material. Merino is miraculous. These hold up well, too. The oldest pairs I own are still in regular use. Yes, they've pilled some and they're obviously not good-as-new, but I've had them and worn them regularly for at least five years.

The product has been very helpful with respect to my foot and leg health. I recommend them to others who suffer from foot pain and circulation difficulties. Sorry I can not provide you with a photo as I do not have a camera.

These socks felt amazing when I first pulled them on. They have a soft yet rugged texture. They retain their shape all day, and are warm but thin enough to not take up too much space in my boots. The colour was also even better than the pictures online showed. These are very comparable to other premium socks I have that were more than twice the price.

I have been buying these stockings since 1970 when I worked in menswear while going to university. I have them in every colour. They look great and feel even better. I won’t wear anything else for business or dress.

There are a lot of homeless in Whitehorse, they need ti wear warm thick woolen socks, all of the time, but especially in the winter, I support that kind of donation!

Fabulous socks for really cold weather. I find that my footwear needs to be roomy enough to accommodate the thickness of these socks (which most boots are -- at least mine are). They do a good job of keeping my feet warm, even while outside for a few hours at a time. I also appreciate that they stay up really well. Very happy with the quality and function!

I have worn this brand of socks for over a decade. I love GX Hiker socks and bought them for myself, for my daughter and my grandson as gifts because my feeling is you can't go wrong with these socks. They are warm and cozy always, winter or summer.

I work as an arborist on the westcoast of Canada. So cold, wet, yuck weather is pretty much normal. When I put these socks on... WOW, warm, dry all day. And so incredibly comfortable! The few times they have gotten wet, they've stayed warm and cozy. I must say, wearing these socks is becoming one of my favorite treats each work day.

This sox gets an "A" for comfort however it hasn`t been cold enough to test in extreme condition. You better have lots of room in your boots to handle this sox`s thickness. You instantly realize that this is a well made Quality product.

A bit more comfortable than comparable premium merino wool socks but less durable. U will enjoy them while they last. Mine came with a small hole @ seam but customer service was fast to send replacement.

Finally! I found a Canadian made sock that is similar to the other Canadian brand I used to buy long ago, which were of excellent quality and durability also, but that ended when Harvey Woods was bought out and production was sent to Asia. This style (non elastic top) and Merino wool blend has been my go to sock for decades, so I have stocked up on this brand. I hope Great Sox never decides to put profit over quality and won't move production of this sock offshore.

Love these socks. They have just the right mix of wool with other materials. They are soft and warm to wear as well as vey comfortable. They wash up very well and I hang them up to dry rather than putting them in the dryer.

The very best wool socks I’ve found in years of searching. They are warm and snuggly, long enough to go up over the shin. Not too thick making it hard to get into boots but not too thin so they don’t get holes in the toes. Best - they’re Canadian and they are very fairly priced. A gem of a product. (they also arrived the day after I ordered them!).

I never realized how something as simple as a sock could be so much better. The quality is truly much, much better than the socks you buy at the typical chain stores. Thank you.

Amazing!!! keeps my feet so warm and its crazy to compare it to cotton socks. i will say sometimes the sock is a tad tight if you wear it all day and can leave some imprints on your feet, especially around your ankles. love it! the orange isnt my favourite, bought the dark green one too but my sister wanted warm comfy socks so i gave them to her.

My husband tends to go through the toes and heels of the socks he usually buys at the big stores, and after a couple months of wear, the Great Canadian socks are holding up against his daily wear!

These socks are the best I've found. The tops of these socks do not shut off lymphatic circulation in the lower legs. They're the perfect weight for use year round. And they last well. I purchased several pairs for my self and to give as gifts to relatives. I'm so glad they're available!

I love these Point Zero socks. My previous socks (other brands) quite often did not last long. They very quickly developed holes in the heels despite wearing them only a few times. These Point Zero socks do not wear out and I do not develop holes in the heel area. They are comfortable and last - I am really happy with them.

I have sensitive skin, making it very difficult to find socks that don't itch and irritate...and then I found these! They are awesome! Super soft and comfortable and almost 100% cotton (which is nearly impossible to find). They're the only socks I wear. I love that they come in different sizes so I get a perfect fit. I'm female with a size 6 foot and the medium is exactly the right size. Best socks EVER!!!

I love these socks. They are well made and last many washings . They are non binding and so comfortable! I am a diabetic and always worry about tight socks, with these there is no worry! I wear a ladies size 11 and for once do not have to stretch my socks to fit! Thank you!

I bought 3 pairs of socks and got the 4th pair free. Great socks never lose their elasticity. They feel great on. And look very sexy on. I want to wear them over my pant legs. I’m actually going again on April 6th to by 3 pairs more for a friend’s birthday. But I’ll keep the 4th free one’s. How cool is that? First and foremost, I need to say how pleased I am that there was no constriction at the top of the sock, where it lies against my shins. I totally didn't notice them on my feet! They kept my feet warm and still allowed good airflow. I guess I'll have to order more pairs so that I'll have something other than a dirty sock to show in a product photo!

Absolutely love these socks, I have long calves and these are the perfect length and I can still folder over the top with just the right amount of tightness at the top. I ordered the XL, as I wear a 10.5 women's shoe and I like to have a bit of toe room. I use these for mild compression, and the wool combo is much more comfortable in the summer heat that an all nylon lycra products, and not itchy at all.

I've never owned such a comfortable, warm and soft pair of socks- obviously a superior qual ity than what you find in most stores. I'm so tired of cheap polyester blends that are itchy, and pill, and look terrible after a couple washes. This cashmere/merino wool is NOT itchy at all-it is incredibly soft and does not pill if washed inside out. And they kept my feet so warm that I actually had to take them off in bed and I have never had to do that before!

Hubby loves them-the best quality sock he has ever worn. He wears them for work in his work boots and they are soft, warm and cushiony. They look great too and wash well, turned inside out...would buy again. Superior quality to the cheap junk sold in most stores today..

Have been looking for a comfortable knee-high sock to wear with culotte pants in the colder weather and these are perfect. Gives the coverage on their own, but also thin enough to fit in boots with a heavier sock.

Bought 2 packs of three blemished and cannot see anything wrong with them. Very comfortable to wear and they stay up without being tight on my calves. These are a good spring and fall sock, I personally would want something warmer for winter

These are great socks. So comfortable and warm without making my feet too hot. Can’t wait to see how they are when it gets really cold. Definitely the sock you need if you have any allergies to regular wool socks.
