I bought this as a present for my daughter and her family; they visited several Wisconsin state parks last summer and will be moving to Wisconsin (from Texas) in a couple of months. My granddaughters really liked the page where they could write what they saw and did at each park--as avid campers, the whole family will enjoy recording their adventures.

I ended up giving this to my daughter and family as they were heading out on vacation to several National Parks. I understood it would include recommendations on things to see or do in the parks. However, it is really just a diary or journal for you to keep notes when planning and when visiting.

I've just started looking at the journal to plan my trips. I love the format and the journal questions. However I noticed some errors immediately. This is the Iowa Journal. On p. 7 Decatur County is listed under the Northwest Region. Decatur County is in Southwest Iowa. There is also a listing for "Forest County." At first glance through the journal it looks good for the state parks here in South Carolina. Very interactive and on several different levels and age groups. It will certainly get out in the motorhome real soon.

Bought this for my mother for Christmas and I know she'll love it. However, it does not come bound with a metal spiral spine. It comes with a plastic one, reminds me of those free planners some might have received in middle and high school. They say they have some of the best products but I just don't see that in the spiral spine in this product.

The National Parks Journal is woefully inadequate. It list 62 of over 400 National Parks that exist. Two national Parks that are near me are not in the book. Perhaps you could allow a customization option to order pages for individual parks to add to our books. Blank pages are NOT enough or the same.

Great for keeping track of State Park activities. Needs more "fill them in yourself" sheets for non State campgrounds and attractions. Also the addition of pockets inside the covers would help to store brochures and miscellaneous campground maps.

Very complete! However, for some of the more remote sites, a state map showing the location of all the parks would be very helpful. Also, on each park's page a local map would help too. Maps are a very good tool (they could help us that don't have smartphones or GPS)!
