The only thing to be aware of (which totally depends on your face/ear shape) is that the posts are a bit sharp and can poke into the neck - especially if someone hugs you tightly. I bought the necklace with the gold beads. This piece is so beautiful and also - so heavy. It's a lot longer than it looks in the photos - it hits me just below my waist (I'm 5'1"). I'm hoping I can take it to someone who is able to remove the bottom 2 strands without causing the whole necklace to unravel. All in all, it's a very beautiful, impactful piece, and I'm thinking I'd like to order the very same necklace in pearl.
