The shoe was great for Snow. I used for my Kashmir trip. The grip was excellent. I was able to climb 60 degree slope easily. The thermal insulation is also excellent. It kept the feet warm even when completely dipped inside snow of a feet depth. It is waterproof as well except snow/water can seeps into the shoe from the top.
