I purchased a 95 Icey-Tek because it nicely fit under my leaning post. I also own a 125 Yeti. The Yeti 125 has almost the exact same interior volume as the Icey-Tek 95 (99 quarts vs 95 quarts). So out of curiosity, I put 20 gallons of ice into each cooler and measured ice retention in each cooler over the course of 3 days in July in the direct Florida sun. I absolutely love the 200 quart Icey tek , I just came back from a 5 day trip and the Icey tek kept my food cold and plenty of ice left . I put two big blocks ice blocks in it and with drinks and food for 5 days . We traveled 300 miles of Bahamas traveling by boat and the cooler performed flawlessly. I also added two rope handles and a sea Dek top so we could sit on top of it .

It’s my understanding the cooler I have from Outer Banks Outfitters is made by Icey-Tech. As you can see from the picture, it seems that a simple loss prevention technique would be to include some type of simple attachment to the drain plugs to keep them from being lost. I own a 170qt and it has been on 3 tuna boats since 2005 with high usage year round as a fish box. It was retrieved by the Coast Guard 30 miles offshore in 2014 with my 2nd tuna boat sunking.
