Fruity bright and estery, lively, with a slightly sour woody note at the finish. Not as juicy as the 10yo. Might be quite fun blending with other whiskies, like they do with Jamaican Rum such as Hampden.

A cracking whisky which shows off the balance between two different stills. A really nice sweet nose with soft smoke popping through sweet and really oily on the pallet with an unbelievable balance of smoke on the end. Normally stick to what I know but I wanted a gift for my good friend so purchased a limited edition bottle because he is a Dundee FC fan. So thought why not buy myself a nice 12 year bottle for myself. It took more that one glass to warm to it because it was such a smokey flavour but I love it now. I got craved a glass whilst driving home from work so had a glass as soon as i got in tonight. Really lovely whisky, easy to drink, smooth and smokey flavour.
