I've tried other products through the years. The other products required sanding with up to 1200 grit paper in four steps, then polishing with a drill motor and polishing compound. That was a lot of work that required about 3-4 hours to get a finished headlight surface.
With Headlight Restore, I followed the directions and within 10 minutes voila, I was done. The headlights on my 2005 Subaru look like new. It's like magic!

I really do love this product which I use after my high speed air tool sanding. This allows the beauty of the headlights to last even longer. Unfortunately there is a shelve life limit to this product and you must keep the packages in a well ventilated and cool storage or it’ll thicken and not work properly. I Waisted a few boxes because of this which has forced me to purchase a few at a time rather than in bulk.

It took 2 sets of these to really clear up my lights as they were so dirty... good tip is to go very slowly for the second wipe - don’t reuse any dirty sides and definitely do not even touch after and don’t get it in the rain!

The biggest mistake I made was not taking a picture before I used your product. This lens was so bad you could not see inside of it, I even at one point used 2500 grit sandpaper and tried buffing it out but instead I got a very blurry cloudy lens. I followed the steps and I did take a picture of the lens afterwards and this is what it looks like now. Initial report after applying is great. Easy prep, easy application. Pics include before and after. I had to call to verify to wipe off #1 solution completely or leave on only make sure light is dry and cool. Either or. So, one before and after pic shows a complete removal of #1 solution while the other shows leaving on making sure light is dry. You see the both before and after. Not bad at all. Pretty good actually.

The kit came nicely packed. Got it fast. It has 3 pockets with wipes. 2 for cleaning each light and only 1 to cote both. Need paper towel to dry, so be prepared to have one when needed - after the cleaning step. The last coating step is where you see the difference the most. Comes out shiny. Looks like new.
