It works very well. I took it on a camping trip in the wilds and used it to charge my phone and my headlight. Worked fine but of course in cloudy conditions it takes longer. Perfect for what it was designed to do.

It does charge well outside, very slow through glass but that's possibly to be expected. Took 2-3 hours of NZ winter sunlight to fully charge smartphone from being 30% of battery capacity, so useful for emergencies.

Ordering and delivery was easy and quicker than I thought, so it was great to get a chance to test it out. Actually worked - I don't have a solar efficiency meter but in charging my phone it worked better than I expected for a device that was as small and compact.

It really does work! I was hopeful but sceptical. It took an hour to charge my headphones and an hour put about 12% on my phone. Others said they charge a power pack during the day and use that at night which is a good idea. The English clouds don’t help but that’s not the fault of the panel! It doesn’t need a totally cloudless sky - as long as it’s brightish. It will be useful on holidays abroad in places where electricity can be intermittent.

This is really a very nice charger I tried it out and it worked immediately. My only complaint is that the little cable that they give us doesn’t fit my Apple device, i used my regular apple usb cable instead and it works fine. Other than that everything about the solar package is wonderful.

I have been using it on the dashboard of my van whilst I'm at work. And again through a window in the late afternoon. I'm getting about 4,500 mAh in a afternoon from it. I'm not sure but I find it works better horizontal, so the lines on solanoid horizontal to light. The conditions are not great. It a great size.
The usb port is just a little loose, but still connects and works as it should. 8w is what it is so don't expected huge charging speeds. It's a solid 4 star, abit more 4.5 star.

A great little gadget, lightweight and compact to carry. Good for a top up on a sunny day, would recommend for summer campers, hikers and outdoor workers. As i am out working whatever the weather i have found a mini powerbank useful on wet or consistently overcast days but this is a cracking little unit that has already become a part of my essential kit.
