I've always wanted one of these. I'm happy I finally got it. It sounds really nice. It's easier to tune than I thought it was going to be. The only thing I don't like, but I can fix, is the the rear sound holes. I like that it's a sound difference between covered and not but I prefer the holes covered and I don't like keeping my fingers over them. Easy fix though. I'm going to plug them. I haven't recorded it yet but I will soon.

I absolutely love this thing! Playing with a metronome can be so boring, but the drum tracks are much more enjoyable. My favorite is the #3 blues track. Being a stereo looper, I've had fun connecting a guitar to one channel and a bass to the other then running the outputs to my guitar amp and my bass amp separately. I gave the Dark Horizon 5 stars because of the high quality at an insanely low price. I'm still experimenting with the sound, but I've found that the Gain and Tone controls are very interactive. The Gain is so bright that I end up with the High on 0. The pedal cleans up very well with the guitar volume turned down, and it cuts through, playing with a loud band. It is going to get a permanent spot on my pedal board, either along side my HBE Power Screamer , or in place of it.

Love your noise gate. I put it in after the wah wah but before the compressor...(which creates a bunch of noise. ) the control is simple: just one knob. It's on all the time. In run a stereo rig and it really helps. Probably will get your looper next, If you had a Pitch shift/detuner stereo pedal, like the Electro Harmonix That would be great! I had gotten the Donner concert Ukulele and really liked it. Then decided I wanted to try a tenor. Because the quality of the concert Ukulele I had no problem going back to Donner. I was not disappointed, good quality and sound and the price was great to. I haven't been able to try out the pre Amp but will a soon as I get me an Amp. The extras are great but I really like the gig bag. I would highly recommend this, great product at a great price.

This guitar is fantastic! I bought it because of several video reviews I saw of it, all were positive. It was packed very well inside a nice gig bag, inside a well padded box. Sounded great right out of the box. Even the stock strings sounded great. I love the pop in tremolo bar. Highly recommend this guitar over any other brand in this price range. This is -THE- best strat style guitar for the money. Plus you get a humbucker and a coil split switch. Get one!

I honestly love this guitar. If feels great, and is a pleasure to play! The pickups sound nice too, I've already recorded with it and loved how it sounded. The neck is smooth, no sharp frets, nice weighty body, just well-made all around. I also like the gig bag. I highly recommend this guitar.

This little gate realy supprised me, I was getting a terrible hum from my amp and when I hooked this up and turned it on the hum was gone.I am playing a Les Paul with singel coils and it also cleaned up some of the buzz as well. Great product and I would highly recommend.

I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised at the fit, finish, and sound of the Donner DTC-100S. I had a coupon from a reviewer on YouTube and for $126 shipped with accessories like a decent gig bag, strap, and cable it’s hard to beat the quality for the price.
