Great quality! I bought saffron from different stores, and so far this one is the best quality. Zaran’s saffron is better quality and cheaper price compare to Costco’s saffron. I will definitely buy it more! Highly recommend!

I saw their reviews on Amazon and decided to buy 10grams since they weren't available on Amazon. Absolutely worth it. Extremely fragrant, vibrant, and when I dropped it in the hot water for emerati tea, you can see the yellow pigmented aura bloom for a while at that. Definitely genuine high grade saffron. I bought both Mehr Saffron and Zaran Saffron at the same time with the same size. They look so similar, the qualities in both are superior, no broken off debris, all long red threads, smell fresh and wonderful. There is slight difference in the smell which the Mehr smells slightly stronger with more aroma; also the package is different, Mehr uses a glass jar which allows you to see through the beautiful threads, where Zaran uses a metal tin to seal everything.

Love this Saffron Powder from Zaran! I prefer the powder because I find that I get more color and flavor when its grounded. A small pinch goes a long way, I steep a tiny amount in hot water for about 10 minutes before adding it to my rice dishes. It turns the Rice a beautiful vibrant yellow and adds lots of flavor. I garnish at the end with a few whole threads.
