Not a bad deal for two beater knives with good spring assist action. The pakka wood handles feel far more like plastic than wood, but they should be able to take a beating without showing significant wear.

Helpful staff, not super easy to get on the phone but that's neither here or there. So there was a slight mistake with my order but they fixed it right away. Dont order anything on friday nite your gonna wait till they get back to get it sent out. Knives themselves were great for the money. Just wish they could replenish their "out of stock " quicker

As expected, the Kershaw quality and value is evident, the 154 cpm steel is good, the blade is sharp, the detent is robust. It is a good knife. I only wish it was just a hair (about 1/4" longer blade and handle) larger but not as large as the launch 8 which I also have. I have a number of Kershaws in my collection so I am familiar with them. On sale the price was fair as well. My experiences with Blade City have been good.

Having just opened my package,I will admit that these two knives are something I see myself using. The straight blade will be with me when I go camping or hiking in the woods. And the folder is going to be my edc for a while to try out. The straight blade is a Winchester brand and unfortunately it was made in China. The folder is a Schrader brand and I'm pretty sure they are made in the U.S.

I'm pretty happy with the knives I got. They're both really sturdy and have really nice weight to them. They're both also really sharp. My only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star is strictly to the folding blade not being smooth to open. Other then that I really like them and look forward to the next set
