It is an excellent product. I live in Central Florida and have my winter herbs planted in it currently. My local garden center advisor told me that even if we are affected by a hurricane, as long as the planter is full of soil, it will stay in its forever home. I have 2 more planters of the same size to plant vegetables coming in January 2025.

I finally put the planter box together yesterday. It wasn’t difficult for us but the size was a little cumbersome for us. I can’t wait to get some vegetable plants & herbs to plant in that one. I have a smaller one coming for flowers. They are a beautiful addition to our patio.

Love the way they look and they drain really well. Strawberries, arugula, spinach, lettuce, and radishes all seem happy in them! The assembly requires some patience and some drill holes were trickier than others to align. A second set of hands was helpful for those. All the tools necessary are included. If you have a ratchet it helps the process go a little more quickly.

I bought 2 planters to use as a screen across my driveway. The Cedar Planters team was very responsive to every question I had. One of the sides was damaged during shipping so they sent me new parts within days of my email.
Since I need to move my planter boxes once in a while, I installed 3”caster wheels. This might be an option Cedar Planters should offer in the future.

Straight forward assembly. Best is knowing how much dirt to put in it. Would suggest giving options for supporting the planter as the weight does cause it to sink, even when placed onto large stone squares

I assembled my planter in time for June Pride. Probably hard to tell but I loaded it with different flowers that make colors of the rainbow..
I know I over stuffed the box but it behaved well all season.
The winter cover fit snug and I am so happy to have the planter protected. I am looking forward to a more thought out arrangement this next season. It is just the perfect size to define my front porch entry and hide delivered packages.

Thanks for the suggestion to include the snap-on feet for the planter legs. They stabilize the legs, as well as give the planter a more complete appearance. They were easy to attach and fit perfectly - looks great!

The planter arrived in amazing time. I am a 76 year old female and I put it together EASILY by myself. The directions were great. I filled it with 4 bags of 1/2 mulch soil and 1/2 Ocean soil. I planted basil, Cilantro, parsley and re-planted thyme. I threw in a couple of marigolds for good luck. Everything took off. I'm loving everything about this planter and thinking about getting another one!

Downsizing from a large garden area, your cedar planters were the perfect solution for my condo’s patio garden. There is garlic planted under the winter cover. This is on a balcony 3 stories up. The assembly was easy because it is so precisely made. Even the liner is tailored like a box to fit perfectly. I also bought the frame & cover for early spring thru late fall.

It was easy to put together - thank you for the well produced instruction video online. I was able to put it together myself without the need of a 2nd person. I used a socket wrench to speed up the process a bit. Looks great!
I did a small "trimming" addition just because I thought it would help. You may like it and incorporated, or not. I just did to help keep the liner neat and in place. I am sending you pictures.

Wanted to write a review and say that I do love this planter. I purchased the 18" by 48" raised bed.
The packaging was solid and everything well protected. I used a sanding block to remove some minor rough spots but the wood was all in great shape and did not need much.
Before assembly I took the time to apply multiple coats of a food-safe, plant derived product that I hope will keep the cedar from weathering too quickly.

We needed to help block the view of a major construction project next-door, and so purchased three of your cedar planter boxes, into which we will plant California lilac hedges. The boxes are beautifully crafted, easy to put together, and when the plants grow, will do the trick to restore our privacy. Easy to assemble. I stained everything first before assembly. I used threadlock on all the bolts, which may have been overmuch, but I wanted to be sure. I did some other modifications that I wish I could share but I put the project away for the winter. I would readily buy another if I need another planter. The final project came out great.

It took a while to put it together but my husband had no difficulty. I’m very happy with this planter!! It does take a month or so before it is shipped, but we knew that in advance. First one( out of 3 diff sizes) took me about 40 minutes on the livingroom floor. Predrilled holes in sides are perfectly in alignment with metal legs. I used a long socket 7/16" on my drill and quickly tightened all 20 bolts/ nuts lickety split. The 2nd larger unit took 20 minutes, the 3rd is still in shipping box waiting to be opened. Good quality product, strong finished construction. We like our gardens and impressed with the quality.

It received its baptism by fire (actually, water) when we had 10 days of steady rain shortly after we put it all together. It still llooks great.
