Needed a prime rated roast for my father in law's birthday. He is 96 and had been asking for prime rib for a couple of years. He has trouble chewing thicker meats so I needed this roast to be well marbled so it would be as tender and juicy as possible. Truly this roast did not disappoint! Meat was neatly trimmed and cut exactly as described. Needed for family meal we call “roll-em ups”. We butterfly the flank, pound very thin, wrap around a dill pickle spear, roll in flour, fry and then simmer in tomato sauce for 6 hours. Unique and delicious. Plan to buy more for the holidays. The Signature Prime Chop Box has a great selection of steaks for any steak lover. The ribeye has the perfect amount of marbling making it tender and juicy. The filet mignon was melt in your mouth perfect, with just salt and pepper. The NY strip was our least favorite of the three but was still amazing. We cooked them all on the grill, and they made the most delicious dinner.

As a meat lover and frequent steakhouse visitor, I can assure you that you can get the same quality or even better cuts at home through Chop Box than by going to restaurants. I've never had meat that's more juicy and flavorful than when I make it at home. You can really tell the 'prime' quality from the way they pack it to your door, to the way the meat is tender and absorbs all the flavors. Highly recommend!

The steaks arrived frozen solid and well-packaged, and each cut looked thick and well-marbled. The ribeye was juicy and flavorful, the New York strip had a nice firm bite, and the filet mignon was very tender. You can tell these are premium cuts meant to feel like a steakhouse experience at home. The only downside is the price: it’s definitely on the higher end for just six steaks but the taste, tenderness, and convenience make it feel worth it for special occasions. Overall, great quality !

I followed many online recipes to make this PrimeRib. Settled for a Chefs reverse sear. 250 degree oven for about 3 hours and change. Then put it on 500 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. It was medium rare as advertised, a little too pink for the family, but I BOUGHT IT, AND I ATE SOME AS ADVERTISED. The softest and most tenderness steak I have ever consumed hands down. Easy to grill, 5 minutes on a side over direct heat then move to indirect heat and cook until internal temperature reaches 125-130 degrees. Remove from grill, top with garlic butter, cover with aluminum foil and let it rest for 10 minutes. Fantastic flavor.

Excellent steaks. Cooked them sous vide and finished them with a reverse sear. Very tender and flavorful. Chop Box will be my go to for purchasing steaks from now on. Better quality and much less expensive than other vendors I have tried. The six filet mignons from from Chop Box were about $90 LESS than comparable steaks from the place I used for years.

The highlight of our holiday meal! After thawing the roast, I salted it and left in the fridge uncovered for 48 hours. To cook, I browned all sides in a very hot pan. Placed it on a rack over a baking sheet and roasted at 200° about 4 hours until the internal temperature reached 125°. Removed from oven, tented with foil and rested for one hour. Prime rib was medium rare, tender and juicy. Well worth the investment in time and money!
