This was a fantastic pattern. I have made two versions so far: one for disposable cups, and another, with a Velcro strap added for stability, for my Yeti Rambler travel mug. I am able to use both versions to take drinks with my on my Honda Ruckus 50cc scooter. Life-changing! Love them.

Being a traveller this I grip caught my eye straight away. Have it attached to my backpack and it is a must hVe accessory to carry all sorts of items from coat to hats and excess bags. It is also great to attach your handbag to you suitcase while waiting around airports.

Results were beautiful. Learned new way to box corners. Had not see this before. I had to watch the video to truly understand. As I live in the US, we use the imperial measurement system. It was a bit harder for me to measure in eights because I’m not use to it. That slowed me down a bit. I’ll make a few changes like adding a slip pocket inside next time. I’m going to make more of these for sure!

I consider myself fairly experienced in installing zippers but had never seen this method until the Sakura Pouch and now I can’t wait to adapt the technique to bigger bags! This zipper installation method allows for a wide opening without use of zipper tabs while still having a neat finish. The size of the Sakura Pouch is also so cute and comes together fast for last minute gifts. This was my intro to SSOL patterns and I am already eyeing a bunch more that I want to try!

Love this bag pattern. I scaled it down to 85% print size (although it still fits a 1 liter bottle no problem). I used cotton canvas for the exterior, cotton quilt fabric for interior, and seatbelt webbing for the strap. I'm a beginner, so it took me a little while to make it, but I'm happy with the results.

Considering that my state is going plastic bag less and charging for plastic bags and the bags I already made long time ago are getting old and they are bulky. I was looking for a bag that fits a lot and doesn't take much room to store in a purse or jacket pocket. I love the zipper pocket which I can add extra stuff, as well as, the bag folds up so small in the other part of the pocket.
