I altered the pattern to make a wider, longer version. First make was the waterproof canvas. It was a bit too long so reduced the height of the front panels. My daughter was very happy with her new cork handbag! I love how easy it was to put together and the instructions were very clear. It may have just become my new favourite pattern.

I was looking through so many sling bag patterns, and when I saw this one, it seemed just right! It turned out great! The only thing I really changed was to make the front zipper pocket longer to go to the bottom of the bag. Other than that, it was perfect.

I did have a really difficult time trying to download the pattern and extract it or unzip it. The pattern did not download to the correct size. I had to make adjustments but with that being said, it is a really cute, fun item to make and give as gifts. I will be making many more.

I found this a lovely quick make, i used a sillouette cameo cutting machine but it didn't quite cut through my vinyl so i had to hand cut it following the faint lines the cutter made. Next one will be better. I cut the tissue version and will do the other style soon. Easy, quick pattern.

I have to admit that I had some trouble just following the instructions, but understood those steps more clearly after watching the video. It isn’t difficult; there are just quite a few steps to this pattern. This is what separates it from other water bottle patterns, though, since it has so many additional perks! This is an almost-perfect bag. The design itself IS perfect - I just needed it to be a liiiitle bit bigger. Going to print larger, but I think the original size could be a bit bigger to start. I made the first Bubblegum pouch to complement the Haralson tote I had just finished. Since the coin pouch was an easy sew, I decided to make more as gifts. I lined all of them. The PDF instructions were well-written and detailed enough that I didn’t need to watch the follow along video. Also, I wanted a D-ring and it was very simple to add one.
