Customer photo review of Spiced Pecan Syrup

The El Guapo pecan syrup is epic! We decided to try to recreate our favorite bourbon drink at one of the fancy restaurants in Breckenridge. The menu said it had “pecan” in it....(after realizing that it wasn’t ground up pecan...ok well I should have figured that out before putting pecan grindings into a glass) - I found El Guapo Pecan Syrup (Creole Orgeat) and YAY!!!! It absolutely makes this drink. I highly recommend you add it to your cocktail arsenal. Here is the drink we use it in: ab...

I was so excited to try the Sweet Potato Syrup I got my husband for Christmas that I gave it to him early. He made a great Old Fashioned with it, and now we want to try some of their bitters too! So good!

I enjoyed ElGuapo bitters at Crown and Anchor in Algiers and loved the Cucumber Lavender in my Pimm’s Cup, no better way to share a bit of New Orleans then to share a set of unique bitters with my son in law for the holidays! I’m sure he and my daughter will love testing them out with their friends! And again when they visit NOLA next spring!

These bitters are what you want. When I get new bitters I start by trying them in soda water before I start using them in cocktails, and now I need a second bottle so that I can have one on the bar and one in the kitchen. The two friends who tasted with me are going to be buying some, too.

I don’t usually like sweet cocktails, but found myself just dumping in extra of this goodness when I made my old fashioned. This Creole Orgeat may be the best thing that’s ever happened to my mix game. I’ve already ordered more flavors and hope they live up to my expectations! 5/5

I wanted to start experimenting with orgeat at my home bar and found El Guapo’s offerings. After initially buying a small bottle and flying through it, I upgraded to the large one. I would buy a gallon of this if I could! It’s delicious in our Trinidad Sours 🤤 Also try the Pecan version!

This makes the best Lemon Drop that I've ever had. It's great with Vodka but to spice things up, we made a batch with Whiskey and WOWZERS! It's new favorite cocktail.

everyone I know is use to the same old bitters that we have all used for ever. Your Bitters are very unique. I love making my friends a drink and them commenting that they find my drinks have a very pleasing different taste. Its not over powering, but makes any drink you may make with bitters very special. Thank you, Jeff

OK first off, I need to say thank you to Phoebe who told me about El Gaupo. I made an espresso martini using the recipe on the site. I did add a shot of espresso and now I'm hooked. I'm ordering my second bottle of sweet potato syrup. The sweet potato syrup and the chicory pecan bitters are absolutely wonderful.

I used the orgeat syrup to make a Humuhumunukunukuapua'a. I got the recipe from the Smuggler's Cove book. The flavor of the orgeat is great and is perfect for tiki style drinks.

Great tasting bitters for an awesome value! I ordered Chicory, Polynesian Kiss, Summer Berries, and Crawfish Boil. The first three add great variety to an old fashioned! Crawfish is absolutely necessary for any Bloody Mary. Thanks again!

I put a teaspoon full of this in my coffee in the morning and it's the bessstttt. A really great coffee shop in Nola called Mojo sells lattes like this and I've always loved them. Recreating them at home is very easy so long as you have this syrup. I've never even used it in a cocktail!

This Tonic syrup is delicious. It's vibrant, it goes a long way, it's balanced in bitter, tart and sweet, not overwhelmed with spice, just right. I use Canfield Club Soda and Beefeaters 24. You have spoiled me. Showing it to friends and family, they are intrigued. Looking to entertain them soon with this excellent Tonic Syrup. BTW a dropper full on a little vanilla ice cream is very nice.

Heavenly! I never imagined the sweet potato flavor being so versatile, but this goes well in many things! Lately I've been making misugaru (Korean roasted multigrain powder) and sweet potato iced lattes. It pairs nicely nicely with coffee, hot chocolate, whiskey and bourbon cocktails, and honestly almost anywhere you need a sweet syrup. One day we made apple crisp and I thought 'what the heck' and drizzled a little of this on top--it was perfection! I plan on always having this in stock.

I ordered the gift set and picked out the Strawberry syrup and Polynesian Kiss bitters for my boyfriend. He thought the syrup was great, but the bitters blew him away! It's the perfect addition to a cocktail (and looks great on the counter).

The Perfect Orgeat! Made a Scorpion Bowl with El Guapo orgeat and was impressed by its rich taste and sweet smell. Have been making tiki drinks recently and found this to be the best orgeat syrup I have encountered.

Summer berries is the apex of bitters experience. I use it in my Desert Rose, a Ranch Water variant. Add a bit of grenadine and 5-6 drops of berries for the full effect.

We have tried several El Guapo products. Our favorite is the Lemon Drop mixer. Just 2oz. Of mixer, 2 oz. of vodka; shaken and then poured in a glass. It makes a perfect lemon drop martini. We order two bottles at a time. When we get down to one; we reorder. Service is wonderful. They use the Shop App. to notify when ordered and then allow tracking the order. This is a great company with great products.

This review is for the gifting of El Guapo bitters. The product ordering is super flexible for putting together a gift box. There are affordable options and they show up in this cute box w a card and stickers and it’s overall a great gifting experience for both parties. The shipping feels a little steep but everything else was great and I’d order again. Thanks!

I love everything about these products, the cordials and syrups actually taste like real food not processed flavors, the bitters are complex and complimentary, the packaging is beautiful. Worth the holiday rush wait! I want to recommend to everyone, when you start using the cordials and bitters to flavor plain sparkling water because you love the flavor so much, then you know you’ve got some quality.

Great bitters. Nice variety from the usual angostura. Slow delivery for a “pick up from store” as it took almost a week for the order to be ready. Why offer in house pick up if the product isn’t readily available?

Black Lime Margarita Mixers are a superior product. I had a Christmas gathering last night and the Black Lime Margarita Mixer was the drink of choice. I quickly ran out and have already ordered a larger supply for the rest of the holidays. I can highly recommend this product. The freshness, smoothness and taste is unbeatable. Thank You El Guapo for making such superior products.

My absolute go to when making margs! I get rave reviews every time! I make my salt ring by using a bit of honey around the glass rim. The salt sticks much better and that little bit of sweet and salty while sipping the best margarita is simply awesome! So glad I found the Line Cordial!!! I have to buy 4 larger bottles at a time to keep up with my entertaining!

I came here looking for some bitters to buy for my husband for Christmas and they all looked so good I couldn’t decide which to buy. Then I saw this All the Bitters set and it was perfect! I bought the Summer Berry bitters separately so he could really have them all and I’m so glad I did. They are all delicious and are a fantastic addition to our home bar! We use them in almost every drink we make now, even ones we never added bitters to before. Buy this, you won’t regret it.

So, you may not see my “build your own bitters set” in this photo, oh but it’s there! In this delicious old fashioned are chicory pecan & Cuban bitters, along with your Sweet Potato Syrup. (Next one had Gumbo & Fuego.) I really don’t think I’ll be using any other brand bitters or syrups. And I take crafting my cocktails very seriously. Your products are just that good.

My wife and I have had some rum we have been wanting to make mojitos with. When I stumbled across the website I decided to go for it. I bought some bitters along with the tonic syrup with the mojito mix as well. The mojitos are so tasty and refreshing, plus easy to make. My mother in law stayed with us for a weekend recently and I believe I ended up making her a minimum of three of those drinks throughout the weekend. Highly recommended!

This product is a revelation. I loved Gimlets 30 years ago, but Rose’s lime juice has changed their formula for the U.S. market to such a degree that it is un-drinkable. We tried a homemade version of lime cordial which was good, but the El Guapo version was head and shoulders better ... it makes the perfect Gimlet !!! Kudos to El Guapo for this ... we can’t wait to try their other products !
