As I've said in my other reviews, build quality and stitching is very solid. This is the one item I was worried about the Gridlock system on, how well would it hold? Turns out, very well. I couldn't rip this pouch off if I wanted to and it's such a lightweight mounting solution. The pouch for the shears on the back side is AWESOME. No more carrying it in a backpack or on the front flap getting full of mud and dirt/gravel. Keeps the shears accessible quickly and prevents the handles from breaking...

Pretty cool kit, first time messing with armor, got steel plates originally and quickly sold them as they were to heavy and to thin and with this carrier that’s just not comfy. Only negative is the Velcro inside the plate bags is only a strip for the flap so you can’t really snug up thinner plates. Other than that it’s great. If your running heavier plates you will need shoulder pads 100% but honestly this carrier deserves some nice lightweight ceramic plates to really shine or honestly some sof...

Fits good...I'm 5'10" 260, and I had read that these ran small. Well, I didn't find that to be the case. If worn properly, and fairly high up on the chest, I found that it fits great. Loaded it with 4- 20rd Magpul's, and still feels good... Mags fit in pockets easily...although, I did try a 25 rounder, and thought that it sticks out too much, and it stretches the elastic keepers out too much IMO. I have used this now in a few rifle classes. I’m 5’8” & 170 lbs. I ordered the three mag carrier for my twenty round M1A mags. I have the harness straps pulled almost all the way up and the chest rig is a belly rig for me. Not a real issue. The rig is definitely meant for the larger thirty round mags, but fit the twenty just fine. Little more difficult to get the twenty rounders out, but not impossible. I have now used this chest rig on multiple large hikes and it had preformed very well. Due to its construction it sits very close to the body as advertised allowing there to be plenty of room for various sizes of GP pouches. I have a smaller frame then most and I was afraid that it wasn’t going to fit my body after adjustment, but it fits just fine and is very comfortable even after long miles. Firstly, I want to point out that its got plenty of space without being a burden. The elastic CAT holder is the perfect size and retention and allows me to keep it accessible without the worry of losing it from a broken rubber band or a snag. The loops on the end of the zippers are great for S-Biners, tie downs, toggles whatever the case may be. Great carrier front bag. Of course you don’t get fancy stuff like padding and QD systems (at the price point it is, about $180 for front/rear bag and cummerbund, and for being made in America where those things usually are premium prices it’s expected) but for the price and it being made in America you can’t beat it. What you would expect from Beez, high quality materials, thoughtful design, and very well made. I have several Beez products and I have been pleased with all of them. My only suggestion is that when purchasing a pack cover I would advise moving up one size particularly with the small size. I have Agilite AMAP II and AMAP III packs and while the Beez website says their small cover will fit these packs, it does not fit well (as seen in my video. Ordered the cover and it was out for delivery in just a few days. Got caught up in the recent ice storm during transit and still arrived sooner than anticipated. Cover fits my mission support pack perfectly. I used some of the spider tabs on my Arc V2 carrier to cinch the cover down on the sides of the pack. Overall I am very satisfied with the harness and the quality of it, massive upgrade over the issued TAP harness, distributes the weight of all my gear very evenly and comfortably and the molle allows me to use a camelback or other pouches for additional storage. One thing to be weary of though is this did not come with a back strap so you will have to order that separately.
