I’m impressed with these. Better than the ‘star shoes’ i’ve worn by far, a comfy foam wedge between the thin insole and the lasting material softening heel strikes, but some notable improvements could be made. A cup sole version would be great for durability, as the sides of these are still lifting off the upper, but that’s a curse of all vulcanized shoes. The suede is backed by a fabric liner, so it makes the shoe smell awful after using them a few times, so I recommend a bottle cap of odo-ban ...

Excellent shoe! Comfortable and great quality compared to "another" brand. PF Flyers uses real canvas instead of twill cotton. I just wish the "All American" would come back in the classic style! If they do I will order some, I am not into these new looks at all. But the basic Center Lo black is a great fit and comfortable. I bought my last pair of PF Flyers 10 years ago and they are still great and have yet to wear out!

Soles and bumpers are a little beefier than many classic lightweight sneakers, and the soles are also pretty "sticky," so, sure-footed. The overall design feels somewhat more supportive and stable than other lightweight sneakers I've worn, without being as big and thick as a modern running or basketball shoe. Love these shoes, on my 4th pair now. You cannot go wrong with the classic look of converse but in a way that is much more attractive and much more comfortable. Less overrated for sure!! Cushy soles. It’s a good idea to go .5 size up if you are a woman. I have small skinny feet and usually wear 8, but 8.5 is perfect in these for me.

Unfortunately, they were a bit small, so I processed an exchange. The whole exchange process was super simple. I shipped out the size 11’s on a Saturday, and received the new pair, an 11.5, a few days later. The shoes are really comfortable, and look great! I definitely need another pair already.
