These ended up being extremely comfortable and I was surprised because I thought they would feel like Converse and be lame. These are miles ahead of those shoes. The quality of the competitors 70’s with the styling of PF Flyers. I’ve put them to the test immediately by taking them to shows, and wearing down the canvas with outdoor events. The sole is soft and springy, and the canvas is durable. The heel stripe is not as stiff as what they used to be which my heel is thankful for. The only downside to the All American is it’s not All American but made in Indonesia.
