A literal lifesaver. Ginger (Shih Tzu) needed to wear a cone long term after chronic eye issues, and to keep her from rubbing. This was not only way more comfortable for the cone, but allowed her to eat more comfortably while still keeping her eyes protected. My favorite thing is that it allows her ears to be free. She is prone to ear infections, and the cone often made it worse. So thankful to have found this!!!

Angus quickly adjusted to wearing this OptiVizor. Unfortunately, we did not use duct take on the side straps the first time he wore it for a while and he was able to push the shield up and chew through his chin strap. He did not, however, succeed in getting the visor off of his head. I would suggest showing the visors on a dog with the tape in place or making this a more prominent requirement, not a recommendation. We love our optivisor! It solves a huge problem for us. Our dog sustained an eye injury due to scratching (she had demodetic mites even though she is neither a puppy nor an immune compromised dog!?!) and this helped us get through treating the injury while waiting for the mite treatment to take effect. Our other option was a cone but that became a hazard to all our potted plants and home decor! And the visor was so much more comfortable for her!

I have a 13 year old dog who struggles with his eye sight especially in sunlight- it's always a struggle when out during the day time. Although he wasn't a fan of the mask, he was finally able to take a walk without flinching every other second. It was a joy to seem him enjoy a walk on a sunny day. My did had to have eye surgery and she is afraid of the cones so I researched and found the Optivizor. After measuring and submitting pictures prior to ordering then watching the online videos and making adjustments to the visor it fits perfectly! This is Woody. He is a much loved member of our family. He has glaucoma in his right eye, which is already non-visual. He will likely have to have it taken out soon. This fly mask is the best! I have been looking for years and have purchased so many different kinds. My gelding 2E is quite small, has blue eyes that are sensitive to the sun and is blind in one eye. All of the other masks have been to big, don’t appear to have very good UV protection and always collapse on his eyes. This mask checks all the boxes! Colten injured his eye and developed a secondary fungal infection. He required surgery at NC state. We are on our recovery process and while the clear one is great his affected eye was photo sensitive in the day time sun. I worked with my vet to pick out the best post laser eye surgery mask for my horse and this was the pick. The 90% UV protection and 30% tint against all light was very important. The tint barely changed the colour of things, allowing it to be worn safely at night. The structure did not collapse when rolling. This is a perfect fit and perfect opti-visor to protect my pug's eyes. Even though she is blind, her eye pressure is still good so her veterinarian stated we needed to make sure she didn't run into anything that could injure her eyes. This is the second eye protector I have purchased. Leah wears the tinted visor by day and the clear visor by night! I am so grateful for these visors and the protection it affords her eyes. Great fly mask! I originally went with a different version and then decided I wanted ear and muzzle protection. Toby likes to spar with the other geldings in his pasture and the only time this fly mask has come off is one of the buckles got damaged during rough play. Easy fix and no other problems!

I wish we had known about this visor when Dandy first injured his eye. The best we could do was use a fly mask and he continued to rub his eye every day. As soon as we put his visor on him, he got immediate relief and wasn’t able to rub his eye or remove his visor. It is amazing!

Repeat customer. Video explaining how to replace these lenses needs to be done by an individual who is willing to show the difficulties and explain how to overcome them, rather than someone who has obviously done it many times & sees no issue. It took me an hour to put the lenses back into their frames but if the video had been more explicit it would have saved me a LOT of frustration.
