The recovery visor has been a game changer for us! My mare had repeated corneal abrasions resulting in indolent ulcers. They were taking 5 to 6 weeks to heal and she was itchy under her protective fly mask. After trying this out, the latest one healed in a week, she isn't sweaty/itchy, and can see out of this much better than a fly mask. We are trying it out as a preventative for future abrasions as well. I'm so grateful for this product!

We found the recovery vizor with a quick internet search and are regretting we didn’t invest in one sooner! Thunder’s eye is finally healing since he no longer is able to rub it, and we were happy to hear it was strongly recommended by our ophthalmologist. She was quick to add the padding to our first one, and having a second one is nice to give us time to bring the other one inside to clean.

My horse has been diagnosed with recurrent uveitis. My vet said he has to stay out of the sun - i am a trail rider so need a good way for 100% UV blocking as I ride. These should do the trick. He lowered his head and let me put them on right away. I haven’t had a chance to ride yet but have high hopes!

It protects her eyes. She had surgery to remove a sliver from her eye. Got an artificial lens implanted. She had to wear a cone for 4 weeks! This helmet allows her more freedom to eat and to move around. We plan to use it in the future when running through the woods. I highly recommend.

We have only had the vizor for about a month but I feel it is definitely going to make our 32 year old pony's life so much better. I was so worried about how to care for Ella as her vision diminished due to cataracts. The Optivizer was a huge relief. My donkey Chesska is recovering from an eye injury, she wore the recovery vizor for several weeks while it was healing and is now wearing the solar vizor for ongoing protection. My horse Cocoa was diagnosed with gluacoma. I reached out to Protective Pet Solutions and they were so helpful. We decided the Solar Visor was the best fit for Cocoa. She has a slightly smaller head than normal because she is almost a pony so despite it being a little big on her it gets the job done. This mask has been perfect for our horse who is recovering from a Squamous Cell Carcinoma removal from his eyelid. Other medical masks block out vision on the affected side, but this mask offers protection while still allowing him to see on that side. Very happy with the Optivizor for our dog who's eyes needed protection. His regular cone didn't protect his eyes or allow him to use the doggy door or even eat or drink properly. So many people have asked us about his cool mask when we take him outside. Customer service was awesome. Our mini tore his left lower eyelid almost completely off, and a fly mask was simply not going to keep him from rubbing his stitches. Being a large mini, we had trouble finding any medical masks that would fit him without slipping and causing more damage to his eye. Then we found the EquiVizor Recovery Vizor! It was perfect! This is seriously the best designed and made fly mask we have ever used! After our horse was treated for squamous cell growths in his eye, we knew we needed the highest level UV protection. He is also hypersensitive to bugs, so sturdy ear protection was a must. He makes this all a challenge because he is an Houdini when it comes to getting his mask off. My Belgian had to have his third eyelid removed due to cancer. I purchased the Equivisor several days before the surgery so he had time to get used to it. He now wears it comfortably and it keeps flies, dust, hay, etc. out of his eyes. I am really impressed at how well it stays on - even when he rolls it stays in place. The Equivisor is allowing him to recover rapidly from his surgery and hopefully the protection from the sun that it offers will keep the cancer from recurring.
