The item is beautiful and I'm sure my girlfriend will love it for Christmas! The appeal of the item all around is worth the price. However, I will say the mahogany box option was slightly cheap and not solid mahogany wood (more of a plastic mahogany coloration), and I think the the box should be packaged in a separate box or bubble wrap before being shipped in a padded envelope. The padded envelope can only protect so much and my items mahogany box did have a small damage to it most likely occur...
