The thing I liked most was the ingredients. All organic, healthy, and good for you. I can understand why endurance athletes like them. I didn't feel hungry for hours after I had one. They were easy to make, had a nice texture, and tasted just like a waffle should. I have mine with maple syrup and butter. The only downside is they are a little pricey. They had free shipping, so maybe that is why. I make up a batch for the week and keep them in the fridge until I am ready to pop one in the toaster...

I love gingerbread. When I was young my mom made gingerbread and we ate it with homemade applesauce. When I heard Unwaffle was doing a gingerbread waffle I didn't waste time ordering a case. Brilliant. I love them. I put whipped honeybutter and a layer of homemade applesauce. Sometimes I just use applesauce. We are lucky to have an apple orchard with amazing apples. What a perfect blend. I couldn't find my waffle maker(!)so made pancakes. I didn't think my husband would eat them let alone like them as we don't have any food restrictions so he's used to traditional pancakes mixes. He did in fact eat them and enjoy them! I usually add vanilla to my traditional pancakes but forgot to add it to the Unwaffle mix. I think that would've enhanced the flavor. I was very happy to discover these as I was looking for an alternative to eggs and oatmeal. I can’t eat regular waffles because of the sugar but these have no added sugar ( the chocolate ones have a little) and have more protein and are more filling and satisfying. My favorite is the vanilla cinnamon and which according to a housemate, leaves the kitchen smelling like a bakery. My sister really likes the blueberry. The taste is so good we just eat them plain.
