Made a beautiful wiksten unfolding jacket that has been prefect for work. Lining a stash rose & hubble cotton. Weight of outer fabric enough that I didnt want to interface the collar for a softer fall.

Had bought the fabric to make the coat a few months ago. The fabric is lovely to work with, and although it is thick it sewed beautifully. Also bought the lining from PF. I didn’t want to put button holes in the coat as I’m not very good at making them. The fabric is thick and did fray and I didn’t want to spoil the front of the coat. I ordered some more fabric and made a belt instead. So I now have the choice of the belt or just leaving the coat open. Delighted with the quality of the wool fa...

I made a kneeling mat attached to a ground sheet plus a zipped bag with a D ring swivel to put the mat in. This attaches to a camera bag for transport. The fabric was very easy to sew. Love this fabric.

This is my second order of the linen feel cotton fabric. Originally ordered to make some casual trousers for my hols. What can I say the fabric was super quality and easy to work with, hence why I ordered more. This photo does not do it justice! Keep up the good work PF!

This fabric is so easy to sew, I used it to make a reversible coat for my dog, warm on one side and waterproof on the other. I used paw print fleece fabric for the other side and bound the edges together with black biased binding. Both fabrics were from pound fabrics, great value and quality as usual.

Lovely silky feel, quite surprisingly weighty, but it has a fabulous drape.with a little stretch as well. I enjoyed working with this fabric. Very quick delivery, and a great price as well. I'm really pleased with the result.

Nice easy fabric to work with and it has a great drape. The colours are lovely and bright. The fabric is fairly thin and has good stretch and the recovery seems good. I used it for a Love Notions Williw Wrap dress.

Used this fabric to remake a torn patio umbrella. The water runs off it really well and it was OK to sew but quite hard on your arms because it is strong and firm. Really pleased with the result.

Tested the fabric for water resistance before using, and water beaded on the surface and rolled off, leaving the fabric dry. It’s a dream to cut and sew. Used with a wool-mix fabric, also from Pound Fabrics, to make bags for Christmas presents rather than using paper bags/wrapping. Hopefully these will be used rather than discarded! The water resistance makes the bags more versatile as they are fully reversible. The one pictured has extra long straps as the recipient needs to wear it crossb...

Used this to make the sleeve piping on this Scion dress by Little Lizard King for my niece, much easier than creating my own. The flamingo fabric was also from Pound Fabrics, a cotton poplin, and it was easy to work with.

Lovely fabric that is super soft and washes well. I made a cosy hoodie, hat and overalls for my one year old to keep her warm this winter Obviously fleece is thick and bulky, my dinky machine suffered a little but the fabric itself cut and handled nicely.

This fabric is a beautiful colour, more green aqua than blue. It was fairly easy to use just curling a little on the cut edge as expected. I used maraflex to stitch to allow for the stretch in the fabric. Really pleased with the result.

Good value. I used it with the rainbow stripe anti pill polar fleece and I do think that was a bit thicker and better quality. However for the price it's still a good buy.

Glad I took a gamble and ordered the fabric as the colour is way better than shown on the PF page. Planing to make a pair of trousers with it.

Enjoyed sewing with this fabric. Pre washed the fabric and quite a lot of blue dye came out, the fabric did not shrink. Dress was lined with a lightweight anti static lining.

This fabric was perfect for the teddy that I made for my granddaughter. Quite thin which meant it wasn’t too bulky to sew the tiny seams by machine. Didn’t shed too much either.

undefined review of White Flower Sketch Viscose Challis Fabric image 1 out of 2+1

Ordered the viscose challis with the intention of making a jumpsuit, however the weave is slightly loose compared to other viscose I've used from PF. It's more see-through than I would be comfortable with wearing as a jumpsuit. It frays badly but has a beautiful drape and the colour is gorgeous. I've made a tiered dress with pockets. I've enough to make another garment possibly a shift dress or tunic.

This crepe was very nice to sew. It hangs beautifully and hardly creases at all. The black and white pattern looks very effective. I am really pleased with the outcome of the Tilly and the buttons Stevie dress.

I loved working with this fabric, it has a beautiful quality . The vibrant colours as good as photo shows. Just perfect for this Zadie jumpsuit . The fabric has a fairly narrow width but well worth the money and extra quantity .

This modal jersey seemed a little on the thin side but having worn it today it’s quite warm. The texture is so soft and lovely to wear. It washed and ironed well, in sewing I used the little clips as it does tend to roll on the edges but it sews up well. I’d certainly recommend this fabric.

This is great quality French Terry. Just right for a sewing marathon making Christmas outfits for my grandchildren. It seemed quite wide - I got all the items shown plus a long sleeved T for myself out of 3 metres. It matches well with the midnight navy plain French Terry

Lovely fine chiffon. Used lots of spray starch before cutting out and sewing which made it more manageable. Made a jacket and top (New Look 6217) from 2 metres. Such great value.

This cotton linen fabric (Dark Green/Grey colour) is lovely to work with. I washed it first but it did not shrink. It presses well and has a lovely texture. There was a bit of fraying but it didn't make any difference to making up. I used this fabric to make my daughter a Japanese-style apron from a Tessuti pattern. Easy pattern and it was an absolute joy to make up in this fabric (used overlocker and sewing machine). I found an old school name-tape and sewed that onto the front pocket, for...

This is beautiful fabric - I hadn't bought double gauze before and expected a much more loosely-woven fabric but this is very stable. The colour is beautiful (photo not accurate) and what I really like is that the reverse is plain and so it'll be great to play with either touches of butterflies or touches of plain in whatever I end up making.
