I make memory bears and this customer didn't have any of their loved ones clothing but liked one i had made before, so I got this fabric which is similar and my customer loved it.

Used as a lining for jacket made with pound fabrics:) great colour and quality for £1 per metre. Going to make an under slip for skirts. Bought 5 metres for my stash:)

Glad I took a gamble and ordered the fabric as the colour is way better than shown on the PF page. Planing to make a pair of trousers with it.

I fell in love with this fabric as soon as I spotted it and knew it would not only make a fab piece for my graduation outfit but also as a signature for my little biz. Pound fabrics were super easy to deal with and got my fabric to me within a few days which gave me plenty of time to get my sewing done. Highly recommend

I made a rainbows dress for a friend´s daughter who is sensitive to seams and couldn't wear regular uniform. She loved how soft this fabric was, excellent quality and price, thank you.

This is a nice soft pretty fabric. A friend chose this for cushion covers which was a challenge with a stretchy fabric! But they didn’t turn out too badly in the end.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this fabric, so of course I made a complete mess of making a summer dress!! I'm hoping I can rescue the make, but here's the photos anyway! It won't take much to fix, I just need to find a fitting buddy. Being a poplin it's got a lovely crisp finish and is lovely and stable to cut and sew

This fabric was very slippery to work with it's a very fine viscose so needed to use pins and weights, however it sews beautifully, and is so cool to wear on hotter days, the pattern was a little larger than I expected and was a little worried it would be too much but after the compliments I received I didn't need to worry, pattern is the Lynn kaftan from Atelier Jupe, I'm going to make again using one of the lovely viscose twill fabrics on the website, so I can have an autumn version

Easy to sew and doesn’t roll quite as much as the cotton Lycra jersey so a little bit easier to cut out. I thought I would try the viscose jersey for lightweight summer trousers for around the house. I’ll be able to compare how they wear (e.g. bobbling on the inside legs), against the cotton jersey. Good quality and great price.

I could not be happier with these fabrics, I absolutely loved both of them. I’ve made a little dress with the pink linen and the same dress in cotton for me and they both look lovely. The fabrics were sent really quickly, and they were so easy to sew! Thank you for a great service and for such lovely fabrics at such a reasonable price!

This lightweight knit fabric was easily laundered. Good to work with: the edges curled a little but a little spray starch soon stopped that. I've made a shawl, pool-side cover-up and the shrug in the photograph.

Two summer dresses for my granddaughters , aged two and four. Lovely fabric. rolled a little , as you would expect for jersey. Sewed well with a walking foot, jersey needles and maraflex thread.

A very nice cotton which looks nice and clean. It has washed and ironed well. It does crease a bit but it made a nice shirt. I did need to overedge the seams as it frayed a little but its a good quality material. Thank you pound fabrics

What wonderful material, a great quality cotton. The colours are great and really stand out. Hubby has worn this twice now and people have remarked how they like the material. They asked where he bought the shirt and he said a little boutique near to his home. I think that its a real boost for my sewing. It has washed well and hardly needs any ironing. A great buy of another quality product from Pound fabrics, thank you.

This fabric is a dream to work with , incredibly stable as it’s stitched through the machine and very versatile. I’ve used it across three projects so far and intend to buy more for upholstery.

Love this fabric! Doesn’t crease like linen, washes well, drapes well. Does fray a bit when working with it but so worth it. Great price too. A pair of trousers that fit for under a tenner - win win! 🩵 Paired it with this white double gauze (poundfabrics) blouse 😊

This is absolutely gorgeous, I did dither a bit over which colour as despite excellent price I couldn't afford both!! Maybe in future. Still haven't decided on pattern so added to my ever growing stash

I love this fabric. I made the September coat by merchant and mills and I had enough fabric to add a belt. The fabric was beautiful to sew with and the added bonus was that it hardly frayed. Will definitely buy more.

I bought this material in a couple of colours. Lovely to cut and sew. Very easy to use. Made this dress, (Patricia Rose Dress by Stylearc), with the brown colour, now on to the other colours.

Very pleased with the fabric for re-covering our old cushions. Nice to sew as well. Good price for what appears to be quality product. Ready for Summer of 2025!

This fabric was lovely to work with. A bargain at £1.99 a metre. I renovated my Sons garden furniture (which was destined for the skip)with some filler, a lick of paint and this fabulous fabric. So pleased with how it came out. I have ordered more to recover my garden swing and the dog's bed.

I bought 2 meters of this cream fabric and made my daughter a beautiful dress with a full circle skirt and butterfly sleeves. It was really nice to work with, it has zero stretch and it washes well.

This fabric has a beautiful drape. Was perfect for this tiered dress. I love the Paisley pattern. I also bought it in pale green!! Quite a stretchy fabric, so no need for zipper or buttons. Great quality as usual from Pound Fabrics!! Xx

Made these wide leg trousers. It's quite fine so in this colour way a little transparent. Had to make my pockets shorter than usual so they did not show below my tops. Having said that it's a lovely weight fabric

I’m currently working on a foundation paper piece wall hanging of a wolf and the fat quarter packs give just the right range of colour options for a great price. So glad I found this site!

Lovely background blue and it makes it look like the birds are flying in the sky. Pic is after washing and it is still lovely and soft. Slightly heartier than challis but still drapeyZ

This lightweight 100% cotton poplin fabric is a dream to cut out and sew. Perfect for summer shirts and tops. The the elephant design is very cute and I think it's suitable for men, women and children. I made a top each for my husband and me for our canal boating holiday and they were great for the recent hot weather. Mine is self-drafted and his is adapted from Simplicity S9315, which is actually meant for knit fabrics. Two tops for under £8 (plus three buttons for his). What's not to like.

I make Syringe Driver bags for our local Oncology unit. Fabric is perfect for them, especially for men. Does take a lot of ironing after washing, but that’s ok. They are so useful and I never charge for them.

Easy to sew and hangs beautifully. A little slippy so needed extra pins for cutting out but not too difficult. All in all very happy with both fabric and usual excellent service from Pound Fabrics.

This absolute bargain fabric was perfect for a lightweight “throw over your head” summer dress. Knocked together in no time at all and at a cost of well under a fiver! Easy to sew, although very prone to fraying, so an overlocker is a huge help on this fabric.

Loved making this dress with the washed denim, very easy to sew, a little bit of fraying but it didn’t cause any problems for me, am delighted with this material, will definitely be ordering more for future makes

Absolutely love this fabric. The design is larger than the standard Willuam morris willow but looks fantastic as curtains. It is thick and warm. I found it easy to sew but was very thick with the inter-lining and fabric folds. In the corners. Some machines may struggle.

Absolutely beautiful fabric, had a small couple faults in the weave but they’re not even noticeable once sewn up. Washed nicely and irons amazingly. The fabric has a lovely weight to it and was the perfect choice for this 1800’s chemise inspired dress due to the lovely texture. My child could not be happier with the dress! Will definitely be buying in more colours for summer wardrobe

The black is the lining on this bag but I will be using it for the outer of another. It’s very nice fabric. Sews nicely. Hopefully I’ll finish it soon and be able to post a finished photo.

A friend asked me to make a beach bag for her. She chose the lovely William Norris fabric. Beautiful to work with, and she was very pleased with her bag

I always like to keep a stash of plain black Jersey as it comes in very useful when my granddaughters ask me to make them leggings for school. Good quality and easy to sew.

Lovely fabric to work with , though I did overlock all the edges first. I wanted to make a very plain top to go with a very patterned summer skirt, and I'm really happy with the results.

I am delighted with this bengaline linen look fabric and pleased with the lightweight summer trousers that I have made. It is excellent quality and was delivered very quickly. The trousers are very comfortable to wear.
