I bought both the Silver and the Gold fabric they behave in a similar fashion. As mentioned they will 'ladder' if stretched too far. Once I'd made a basic pattern I do all the hemming before trying them on. I use a zig zag setting on the stretchy side with a very small stitch length, it will stretch a long way. I loved this cotton fabric. I bought it as it had a 70's vibe to it. Nice fabric not hard to touch. Not super thick but thick enough to make a dress and not see through it. I'm really pleased with the dress I made. Can't wait to wear it in the summer. Thank you, more fabrics like this please.

Used the canvas fabric to make a replacement washing line cover. The photo isn’t great but I’m pleased with how it turned out. As the fabric is water- and rot-proof it should last well. The canvas would be excellent to make replacement deck chair covers too.

My second make in this fabric, in a different colour. This is the Nina Lee Southbank sweater. Strangely, this colour had a little more stretch than the navy I used for the trousers, but not a great deal so I sized up to be sure of it fitting. Sewed up nicely on overlocker and coverstitched hem. Nice and cosy.

This is the first time of using stretch denim. I wanted to make a zip fly front for the first time, and I am very pleased with the result. The material is of good quality and easy to work with. I did take in the legs a little more after wearing as previously I was unsure how much stretch there would be. Good value for money material and would certainly buy again.

Purchased this with a view to protect my crops on my allotment but the sun came out and provided some shading in my garden. Decided I’ll punch some ringlets and make this permanent, likely that I’ll be back to purchase more. This fabric is close netting and strong, didn’t catch or tear even through it’s been lulled about over and under wood!

Amazing, affordable fleece! It’s the softest thing I’ve ever felt, and the perfect weight to line my curtains for the winter. Also they were pre-cut in 2m panels, which was conveniently the right size for each curtain! They make such a difference in keeping the draft out. Can’t complain!

Excellent fabric durable for bags but can be sewn on a domestic machine. I managed to interface this fabric although I probably didn't need to. The only caution is that you can't unpick the fabric because the stitching holes are permanent. I used it to make straps and the bottom base of my backpack.

Lovely quality cotton. Lined with Pound Fabrics white cotton as slightly see through due to the design but so pleased with the result. Saw similar tops in stores for £25 and this cost me just over £8 with the lining included. Very happy.

Oh I love this fabric and the colour just makes me smile. It is a fine crepe ideal for warm summer days made into a hacked Franconia dress by Cashmerette. Took the shirred waist well and is floaty and so comfortable. Added bonus is minimum iron so just wash and wear on holiday

This fabric was a bargain. It has a fair amount of one way stretch. Very easy to work with, no fraying. Just don’t go near it with an iron! Use a damp pressing cloth. I’ve tried a test piece and it washes well
