I've been wanting the reindeer hide for some time and couldn't resist the urge any longer when double free gift day came along. I was very excited, knowing that the bigger the purchase, the shinier the prizes! Was not disappointed at all to discover I had been sent my very own throwing axe, complete with a lovely leather sheath, in addition to a Bowie knife that matches up nicely with its black-handled counterpart that I already own.

OK, it's a second (couldn't justify buying a perfect one), so the blade is a little tarnished at one end where damp has got to it, but I love it! It's heavier that I expected, but sits comfortably in my hand and cuts pizza effortlessly. If Vikings ever ate pizza, this is certainly what they'd use to cut it.
I'm assuming the tarnish will polish out with a bit of effort? Any advice on this from RF welcome...

This is a beautiful little axe, and it feels light in the hands. The purchase came with a shot of mead and a chin wag with some of the nicest people you’ll meet.

So cool! Really pleased with this bag of kit.
Everyone of the blade passed the paper cut test and whilst they may not be full on hand forged bits of kit you would pay 200 a piece for, but I would say they are well worth the the 120 (I checked) quid value let alone the £40 I paid!!
So happy with this that I’m gonna order another one today, hopefully it’s random enough that I don’t get the same stuff lol. Maybe the wolf knife I’ve been eyeing up 👀
