The CQ2 should be everyone’s first call without a doubt. Compared to my poly double nasty and DR85, which are pretty dang good calls, the difference is obvious. It’s much louder and requires less air. It has more rasp and easier to control for the feeding chuckle. The quality of the machining is good, shipping was fast and service is good. The lifetime retunes and warranty is the best perk.

Sounds really good wet and dry, though I prefer the glass dry and the ceramic wet. Used it on several occasions, but haven't had the chance to kill a long beard over it. The construction is really nice, I believe it will withstand a beating.

haven't had the call long but it sounds great. the video was of the crystal side which sounds awesome and the slate side is fantastic. I usually find myself hunting when it's wet and that's why I purchased the call. I'm generally a diagram caller but love having a pot call in my arsenal. love using a pot call to call back and forth to my self with the mouth call and so far this call has fit the bill great.

I ordered the sfx a couple weeks ago to get ready for regular season. I’m a beginner caller and this is my first short reed. I had a flute to practice on and get some of the mouth work down until I picked a short reed. Needless to say, I am more than satisfied with this call from JT! Hunted from my Tree Stand in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY while my husband was further up the Mountain Bow Hunting for Deer.
Called this nice Tom in using my All Weather JT Call.
Shot him at 40 yards, after he came in behind me, right in under my Tree Stand, and spooked backed into the brush, when he didn't see another bird.
Got lucky when he crossed back out in my shooting lane.

AFTER YOU READ THIS!! Go back in and buy the CQ-2. Simply it is a really honestly great duck call. Easy to make it do what you want it to do and or need to to do. The ease of this call should not be mistaken for the quality it’s so clean or dirty depending on how you look at things. Best duck call… wait the only duck call I have on my lanyard. Gets em in the decoys care free.
