The only calls I’ve used this year are JT Slate calls. I’ve had such good luck with them for the last four or five years. I called this bird in around 12:30. It’s been tough running this year because the numbers in my area of Wisconsinare really down. He came walking down the field road at 12:30. Once I had my crosshairs on them, I pulled the trigger. I tried some of my other calls before switching to the ceramic over glass. Once I started using the ceramic with all weather striker it became obvious very quickly that this was the wining combo. I ended up calling in 4 different toms, 2 for a junior and 2 for myself. Its now my go to call.

Great sound and great volume. Very easy to blow and has good low and mid range. My son uses your CQT ( i think that's the model). I'm not as good caller as he is but I want to compete with him. Lol. Thanks, I'll let you know how the ducks like it up here. UPDATE! first hunt with the LBO. Ducks responded great! Turned a couple big groups into our set, and was able to finish well with the LBO. This call is no joke! Jake I don’t know what you did man, but not only does it sound great but it’s un-lockable even in a late Canadian hunt. Took a few accidentally dips and the CQ2 just laughed it off. Had 2 other big name calls on my laynard and they were not usable after that. Great call, definitely will snag another

Just got back from goose hunting in Saskatchewan last month, and changed up my calls for hunting the Atlantic Flyway. The CQ2 is on my lanyard now, and I’m practicing my Cajun squeal daily on my 1hr commute. Do I get funny looks? Yup. Do I care? Nope. This call absolutely rips. It breaks over with very little air and is extremely loud. Fast delivery it came in time to take for our late goose season and was able to use it all day fooled quite a few with it!

Great call to have on the lanyard. I love that you can get real loud and finessey with just this call. I have been in the blind and have used just the Omen from when the birds are 100+ yds out to when they are cupped up landing on top of us. Sometimes I forget I have a dbl reed on the lanyard. If you are weary about spending this much on a call I promise you are getting a solid product for the price. Also the matte black is 🔥🔥🔥

Just wanted to let others know…….. I ordered a call from JT calls. Specifically the SFX, when It came today I thought it would be just a call wrapped in bubble wrap. Instead it was a hand written note saying Matt thanks for ordering the SFX and to have good luck on my hunting season signed by JAKE…… and some bonus stickers and duck and goose hanger that was throw in to the package!!!
