This was my first weekend I got to try it out. I'm not the greatest caller in the world but I found out this call can hit the whole spectrum of sounds with ease. I've always had two separate goose calls to be able to get the attention grabbing highs and the super guttural lows I wanted to finish the birds in close, but I know longer need two calls on my lanyard as the Short Fuse gets it done beautifully.

Ordered the Omen call, as I wanted something with a little more range than my RNT. Not to compare; I like them both - however the Omen knocked it out of the park. Covers all ranges. Received this call today and I’m highly impressed. Sounds great and the glass side is my favorite. With the correct technique, it can be both loud for those windy days or very soft when sealing the deal. Can’t wait to use it next month on these Easterns here in Virginia.
