This is my second Lorna. I love it so much. I have dropped my phone a few times and nothing happened to my phone. It is so well protected inside this case. I carry two credit cards and my license in it and that is all I need to run into the store. You can also tuck a little paper money inside too if you need it. This case is amazing. I couldn’t be happier with it. It protects my magic keyboard case, which was really important to me because I didn’t want the edges to fray over time. It doesn’t add that much more weight to the iPad. And finally, it looks absolutely gorgeous. The taupe gray canvas with saddle brown leather makes everything looks so premium. I’ve had mine for the better part of a decade! It’s held three generations of iPad throughout half of my college career and the years onward, plus the occasional small work laptop, and it’s been on multiple overseas trips. It has aged wonderfully. I use Bick No. 4 leather conditioner to keep it moisturized and clean, per the recommendation of the Dodo staff. I consider this item one of the best purchases I have ever made.

The band for the pencil holds it down safely while also allowing it to easily make enough contact to facilitate charging. This thing is high quality in both looks and function. The slot for the pencil was easier to work with than I thought. I figured I would have to eye the opening to slot it in, however, it is easy to do from the top without finagling at all. Love that I can use the mini without a case too!

Love dodocase products. Such a great way to carry my iPad around daily, without feeling fussy or nerdy.
I only wish the newer models were slightly more padded and rigid, like the order models from the 2010's. Perhaps this could be an upgrade.
I also miss the look and feel of the old-school bamboo holders, but having had two of them split over time, I can definitely say the new versions are definitely more durable over the long haul.

Looks and feels as I expected. Very happy with that. The pencil loop isn't very functional. When attached it doesn't charge the pencil, and sliding the pencil through the loop is slightly cumbersome. So, I'm leaning towards not using it.
