I’ve handed out 60 coins so far. You would not believe the responses you get when you shake a vet’s hand and tell them thank you. Especially when you tell a Vietnam Vet welcome home. DO NOT make the mistake of ordering any through temu. You don’t pay as much, but it takes forever to get them and the quality is not near as good. I will be getting another batch of at least 20 in the future.

I ordered 50 coins for a small Iowa high school veteran’s day service. The principal thought from previous programs that 50 would be enough to cover. This year more veterans attended and the principal took names of those who didn’t receive one and I ordered 20 more to cover those who didn’t get one. I think it's a good idea that comes a little too late for some, but something is better than the nothing they got at the time. Korea and Vietnam will remain as a black time in our history whether the people elected to ignore it or protest it. Every time I present a coin to a Veteran it puts a smile on their face. Some Veterans don`t know how to reply. I let them know just a smile makes me happy. Some Veterans just look at you and wonder why I am doing this. My husband went to 2 tours of Vietnam, and he tells me what happen when he got home. I just want the Veterans to know that not all people think the same as the people back then.
