Superb product, this is my second DT dog box so that speaks for itself. The new Defender box fits perfectly in my 110 and leaves enough room behind for my deer tray. The two dogs love it too, we have a black lab and a GWP cross so big enough for two medium to large size dogs.
Also the box is light enough that one person can easily remove it when needs be.

Fits very well in the car, easy to get in and out, dog loves the vet bed purchased and I love the bumper protector keeping my new car scratch free.

I bought the double stack of dt boxes for my new nissan nv200 dog walking van, and thought I'd give them a good test run befor reviewing them.
Well I'm hugely impressed, fit the van really well, so easy to install, it took only minutes. Really robust, super easy to clean out, really secure. And most importantly the dogs love them!
I had a few dogs who weren't keen on the rattling from my old crates, and need to be persuaded in, not a problem anymore, they hop straight in.

Making sure it fit my landrover was easy, and is a great fit. I secure the boxes back and front with 2 batons to prevent any slippage during transport. The large cages easily accommodate up to a German Shepherd size.

These cages are just what I wanted - spacious 2 up 2 down but able to come out of the van rather than being structurally attached to it. My four dogs all have plenty of room. Love this crate, and the dog does too! Before now he has always had the whole boot, he never really settled on car journeys. Now he lays down almost instantly as he feels secure. I recently downsized from a Trafic to a bipper for my dog walking business. Huge difference in size. I was worried I wouldn’t fit at least 2 cages in that were big enough for the largest dogs I walk. Looked online and found DT and checked the size suitable for the bipper before I bought the van.
The DT 1000 measured up perfectly. Only lost a couple of cm in depth compared to my previous custom cages but gained in height. So I bought the van and the double cage. Which was delivered to my garage...
