I was nervous about purchasing a maternity belly bar, as I tend to get an infection every time I change to anything that isn't stainless steel. However, I've been wearing this for a couple of weeks and my skin has reacted at all. The length is perfect as I was able to cut it down to what I need (I purchased 2 other designs so that I could have 3 lengths to fit me during pregnancy).
