My two AG kept trying to get out of their cages (they are usually out for 3 to 4 hours a day) but sometimes they must be in their cages when we leave. These clips worked perfect for there food doors. They cannot open these clips. I love them! We just drilled a small hole in the round ring in order to add these stainless steel clips from Bonka birds. Don’t hesitate to purchase, it works well to keep all their cage doors secure!

The bungee ropes are the perfect size for my African Grey. Good quality and material is easy to bend and clean. Great product and great price. I love it because my bird loves it. He likes to chew on leather cording after he eats his sticky food. Because of this, I have to replace his cage toys pretty often. And with that being said this toy is kinda too expensive for what it is.. or maybe it isn’t I don’t know. Leather straps is something I must always have on hand because my bird chews on them daily to clean his beak after he eats his fruits/veggies. I buy these to replace the ones on a toy in his cage (see photo). He really gnaws on them and they get gross quick so I have to replace them more frequently than the whole toy itself. My bird always needs some sort of wooden toy with leather straps tied on it in his cage next to his food bowls because after he eats his dinner (nutriberries and fresh fruits/veggies) his beak is always grimy as heck so he monches away on the wood and leather to clean his beak (leather is good at getting in the nooks and crannies). As you can see in the picture he’s already taken a big chunk off the sunflower. He is a yellow naped amazon, a medium sized parrot.

I have bought this at least 4x for my 5 year old male Quaker. I have it hanging with a chain going through....like a roll of toilet paper. He'll spend a lot of time pulling it off and tearing it. His other favorite toy are reader eyeglasses. I pull one side arm off and he "weaves" them through the cage bars. Between the two, he stays pretty quiet until late afternoon.

My kitchen has been Stella, my African Grey's playground, for 13 years. She's a chomper and a shredder and loves, loves her birdie bagels ... she gets 2 every morning after breakfast and if I forget, she goes straight to the cupboard door where I keep them to remind me.
