I quite liked the illustrations like you expect from a ladybird book as a youngster especially the one with the Bristol Blenheim as I had a relative whom was a navigator in one in 1940..

Bought lots of badges for various friends, one was the Vulcan for a friend’s 12 year old son, who from the age of 8 has insisted he wants to join the RAF. His favourite aircraft is the Vulcan, which he has seen at various museums.
He fully understands the meaning of Poppies, started wearing it straight away and will also wear it when he participates in the local Scouts Remembrance Service.

When my farther left the Air Force after 40 years service he contracted for Marshall’s his last job there was a Bri tons Thorpe working on Vulcan back to the skies he was a electronics inspector, I had never heard or seen a Vulcan fly but the first time it came back to Waddington wow blew me away what a beautiful aircraft. The smile on my dads face was beaming saying I was part of that.

Terrible picture but this poppy pin is generally one of the most beautiful poppy pins I've ever came across!!
The quality of the pin is wonderful, although the very tiny opening-and-closing latch piece feels quite loose, however only by appearance alone as it does hold the pin very well no matter.

My life long companion teddy bear Ozzy was very put out by not being able to go to the Airbourne Airshow so this was the next best thing and my my how many compliments I've had on him. He looks so adorable and smart is his little flight suit I think its my best buy yet. Only problem is he now thinks he's the new Red 11 and now wants a Red Arrow of his own!!!!!
